I have a plan for this chapter, I just hope I can see it through... Enjoy! (Ik Dabi and Toga don't get recruited until later, but I wanted to make things interesting)

(f/b/t)= favorite Boba tea

If you don't have a favorite or have never had any you can either just choose your favorite drink or go with my favorite, strawberry milk tea with mango or peach popping Boba👍👍👍

(Y/n)'s POV:

Yakkai leaves and I sit back and try to fall asleep again. After about thirty minutes to an hour pass by, Recovery Girl comes back in and tells me I can go.

"May I please stay for a little while longer, ma'am?"

"I'm so sorry, love, but I need to start getting ready to head home for the day."

"O-oh, okay thank you for taking care of me."

"Your welcome, sweet thing. Now get going and be careful."

I give her a smile and walk home. I draw Weaver and he cradles in my arms. Peace over comes me as I walk done the sunlit sidewalk with my small friend snuggled in my arms. I go to my pocket to grab my phone. I realize my suit has no pockets and my phone's in my bag.

Great.

I sketch up a phone purely for music and a gps. I go to the closest cafè and order (f/b/t).  I pay and continue walking to Yakkai's house, sipping on my tea with Weaver trotting besides me. I pull up directions to his house and follow them. It's not very far, only a 10 minute walk.

The sky's aesthetic feels the same as it did this morning, though the attacks from villains give it somber undertones. The GPS wants to take me around a park to get to the next street. The thing is, I can see the street where I'm at and, rather than having to go all the way around the park, I can just take a shortcut under the bridge. Oddly, there's no one here. In fact, it looks as if no one's walked under that bridge for years.

Should I feel this worried? And why do I feel eyes on me???

I glance around cautiously. I see no one and turn to look forward. Instead of seeing the street on the other side, my eyes meet with a strange black figure covered in scars.

I leap back, stunned, and fall to the floor, spilling my tea and breaking my phone in the process. My eyes lock to his.

"Hello, little girl. The boss sent me to pick you up. Don't fight so we can get this over with."

"W-who are you and who wants me??!!"

"Call me, Dabi. The boss' name is Shigaraki. Toga calls him handy man. You'll probably remember him from what happened today. We want to recruit you."

I stand, erase Weaver, and sketch a sword.

"Never", I hiss at him.

"Of course you had to choose the hard way; they always choose the hard way."

Blue flames begin to form in his hands.

Shit, I should have been more cautious until I knew his quirk. Let's just get this over with.

Luckily, I made sure to make my suit fireproof, just in case. I draw a force field shield for good measure. He throws his blue fire at me, which I block. I feel the heat pass by my arm and face as the fire disperses. I start to run towards him, getting ready to strike. I bring my arm down, but the only thing my blade cuts through is air.

I quickly pivot to face behind me. Dabi catches me by surprise and grabs my arm. He throws me on to the nearest wall and holds me there.

I kick him in the gut and he flies back. I take this opportunity to run, but he makes a wall of fire and pins me on the ground.

He sighs.

"Well, little girl, that was a nice, pointless fight. I do have to do this now, since you wouldn't just obediently come with me earlier."

He pulls so out a syringe filled with strange liquid.

"Bedtime, little girl."

I struggle to be released from his grip. I would use my sword, but it was lnocked out of my hand when he grabbed me, and my shield broke.

I feel the needle break my skin and liquid begins to be pushed in. My head begins to pound and I feel my consciousness slowly slip away.

A loud bang stops the scarred man from finishing the job. He's thrown off of me and I watch the blur of a fight that commences. Blurs of blue and yellow-orange light pass by me and I hear yells over the ringing of my ears.

I fight to stay awake.

I am not fucking fainting for the second time today.

Eventually, the lights and yells stop and I feel myself being picked up bridal style. I look up to see who my savior is...

"Yakkai???"

"Shut up, dumbass. You need to breathe or you're gonna faint. You're fucking lucky I decided to take a jog. You're welcome from saving your dumbass again."

"Th-thank you... for saving my life. Again."

I chuckle.

Three times he's saved me. That's funny.

"Yeah, whatever," he grunts.

"Hey, I can walk if I'm too heavy."

"I had to carry you out of the battlefield to Recovery Girl. I think I can manage. Besides, if I put you down on your conditions right now, you wouldn't even make it two steps before falling on your ass."

I sigh and succumb to his judgement.

He's probably right. I was just worried about knocking out again.

I rest my head on his chest the rest of the way. He oddly smells sweet. The sound of his breathing is soothing. His heart is beating faster than what sounds normal, though, probably due to fighting just now.

The cool air is refreshing on my face and the smell of Yakkai and the flowers on the trees relax me. I close my eyes and just breathe in peace the rest of the way home.

Thank you.
