There was a girl named Marie, she was born on June 20, 1995. She was not a normal girl. Unlike any other kids she grew up with, she was always confused and alone. In first grade, whenever there was a program at her school she was the only student who didn't have her parents with her. All of the other kids had their proud parents with them to cheer for them and take a lot of pictures.
One night, she went home crying and her parents asked her what was wrong. She just stood in front of them and continued crying without saying anything. At such a young age she was being bullied by other kids in her class. They told her that her parents didn't love her and that she was adopted. She didn't even know what "adopted" meant.
Marie's parents were both professionals. Her mother was a head branch manager of the Social Security office and her father was a Colonel. They worked five days a week. Whenever they got home, Marie was already asleep and they woke up early for work. She only saw her parents on weekends when they watched movies together and they went to Mass every Sunday.
Her parents were not strict with her. They never asked about her grades in school, and they never asked her when her Exam week was. Her nanny knew more about her than her parents. Her parents were not bad people, they gave her everything that she needed especially when it was for her education. Marie was thankful for her parents but deep inside her, she was craving for something. She knew that there was something missing.
