Virgils POV
I wake up in Roman's room his arms around me. I freak out! Omg was that all a dream!
I move myself and I feel a sharp pain on my side. I grunt from the pain waking Roman up. "Hey, hey, hey. Love it's fine everything is okay do you remember what happened?" Roman says calmly
"Yeah, my father stabbed me, we went to the hospital and they helped me and then they sent me here." I say. "What am I going to do about having a home?" I ask Roman.
Roman kisses my cheekbone. "Your living here love." Here roman say that brought tears to my eyes.
"If you dont want to you-"
"I dont haven't deal with him anymore! My father cant hurt me!" I say with joy.
"Hey, let's get something to eat, I will carry you down stairs." Roman says kissing me again.
We make it down stairs and Wendy is sitting at the table with Roman's mom. "Goodmorning Roman and Virgil." Roman's mom says.
Wendy has a big smile on her face and looks like she is about to explode. "What happened?" I say looking at Wendy.
Roman puts me in a chair and sits next to me. "Mom what is it?" Roman says excitedly.
"We can do it." I look at my boyfriend with a questioning look on my face. Roman is crying.
"H-how?" Roman asks wiping some tears away.
"Well, they found who killed Max and with Virgils dad in jail we have the money." Wendy says making a cup of tea.
"What!" I shout out
"Virgil, Max is my oldest child. He- he was shot last Fall. We didnt know by who. But now we know. Your father shot him." Roman's dad says walking into the kitchen.
"Oh, I'm so sorry. But why are yall so happy?" I ask
"I can get top surgery and bottom surgery." Roman says with more tears.
"How?" I ask
"Your father has to give us $1,000,000." Roman's dad says
"We don't have that money." I say
"The police found that much money in a safe in your house with note in it saying it was for you, the money." Wendy replies
"So let me get this correct, my father shot your son, now has to give you $1,000,000. Which is actually my money?" I say freaking out.
"Yeah!" Everyone says at the same time.
"You are getting all the money though." Roman's mom says.
"But what about Roman's surgery's?"
"We needed $1,000 more and we were hoping we could use it." Wendy says
"I mean yeah!" I say. It just didn't make sense on why they are happy because they found Max's killer. But I mean they seem happy so I guess I should be happy too.
