Adalyn The sunlight coming in from the large window wakes me up. I open my eyes. The first thing I see is Ruel's bare chest. My head rests on his chest. His head rests on my head. It was cozy under the duvet. The fresh smell of the hotel room brings me joy.
I look up to see Ruel's face. I can tell he didn't know I was awake. He was staring at the wall. Once Ruel felt me move, he lowered his head to face me. Ruel kissed my forehead. "Good morn babe" Ruel says with his morning raspy voice. "Good morning", I smile up at him. Ruel and I plan to eat lots of delicious foods and see a broadway show today! We are going to see Wicked. Ruel I'm very excited for today. It's the first day out of a week and a half. I don't know how long I've been on a trip that is not tour related. Adalyn snuggles closer to my chest. I can see the city view behind Adalyn. It's quite the view. - We got out of bed not wanting to waste our time and took showers. I put on a jumper that looks like ⬇️

Ruel and I head out once we're finished getting ready. - As we stroll down Fifth Avenue, lots of fans ask us for photos. They are awesome though. Ruel is grateful to his fans. We walk around trying to find a place for brekky. Ruel I see a sick looking cafe. It has records displayed on the walls. The cafe looked retro. "Hey Addy, lets go there!" I point towards the cafe. "Ooh yeah, okay!". We have brekky sandwich croisants. - We finished brekky and now we head towards some shops. - I probrably shouldn't of shopped this much. Five bags hang from my arms. Adalyn on the other hand has three. I guess I'm the shopaholic here. - We head back to the hotel to unload the shopping bags. Adalyn and I brought our skateboards from Sydney. Adalyn really wanted to skate here. We grab our skateboards and skate around the city. She's amazing with tricks, ive only mastered an Ollie and riding. The streets in NYC are pretty crowded but still skateable. - Adalyn stops in front of a restaurant. "Do you want to have lunch?" she asks with a voice that she wants to have lunch. "Yeah, I'm hungry" I say. My stomach growls. Adalyn laughs, I guess she heard the growl. I just groan. - Adalyn It's getting dark and the Broadway show starts soon. Ruel and I head towards the theatre. We got welcomed by some staff and we entered the theatre after getting our tickets checked. Ruel and I hold hands in our seats. "Hey, you want to order Postmates after for dinner? We can eat at the hotel and relax." Ruel asks. I mean, we did have a long day and I was already a bit tired. "Yeah, that sounds good. It's been a long day, but an exciting one". - The show ended and everyone clapped. The staff at the theatre kept our skateboards for the show. After getting them back, we start skating back to the hotel. "That was amazing! I didn't expect that ending" ruel shouts over the bustling streets of nyc. "Yeah. Same here". As we approach the hotel we see a group of fan girls. I look over to Ruel. His face seems to drop slightly. Ruel I love my fans. I am so grateful but when I'm on vacation or break, I don't want to take 100s of photos with fans. I just want to be in the room and eat postmates. I sigh. "OMG RUEL! ADALYN! WE LOVE YOU! OH MY GOD THEY ARE HERE GUYS! THEY ARE SO CUTE!" the fans shout. Some fans ask us for photos. Adalyn and I take some photos with them. Adalyn has become really good with the fans. She is so sweet. She doesn't mind it as much as I do. Adalyn is everything. - After that crowd Adalyn and I go up to our room. I accidentally mall-grabbed my skateboard. I'm still a beginner I guess. "RUEL HAHAH! Don't mall-grab!"she has to make fun of me. I groan. I'm tired. We enter the hotel room and a wave of relief rushes through me. I instantly through my skateboard and plomp myself onto the bed. Almost falling asleep, Adalyn snaps me out of it. "Hey! RUEL don't fall asleep! You have to eat dinner." she acts like a mother for a second. We ordered pizza, and Acai bowls for dessert. Margaritas are my favourite pizzas. "You got something on your cheek miss" I laugh. Adalyn had some pizza sauce on her right cheek. "What?" She looks up from her pizza. "I'll get it" Adalyn I thought Ruel was going to wipe the sauce off for me but instead he whips out his phone. Gosh he's a meany. He snaps a pic and laughs hard. "Whaaaaat!" I snatch his phone from his hands. Gosh. My cheeks were filled with food and my cheek has sauce on it. "I'm going to delete this Ruel" "NO. NO. NO don't do it! Stop! Don't delete it!" I slowly move my finger to the delete button to tease him. "Why can't I delete it?" "Because! It's for memories!" He laughs. "Hmph alrighhht" I hand back his phone. - - Ruel and I change into our pjs. We're under the covers. My head is on Ruels bare chest and he hugs my waist. We fall asleep fast.
