Adalyn
The process of choosing where to move is so difficult. In the end, Ruel and I just decided to list the pros and cons of NYC and San Francisco. Ruel. And. I. Are. Moving. To. NYC!! I am so excited. It is currently the month of March. Ruel and I plan to move in May. We want to spend the two months we have here like it's our last. Ruel and I are going to move only our favourite furniture to NYC. Once we land there, we will get straight to apartment hunting. We are both thrilled!
Ruel
I love NYC. Don't get me wrong, I love San Francisco too! NYC will just work out better for us, both living and work wise.
I'm at the studio spending lots of time with my crew. I love them all so much and it's hard for me. I will probrably fly back and forth lots to work with my crew.
Adalyn
I clean the apartment while Ruel is at the studio. I find an old photo of Ruel and I.
Flashback- 8 yr old Ruel and Adalyn
Ruel: Hii Ady!
Adalyn: Hi Ruel!

Adalyn runs toward Ruel in the school hallway. It is the first day of school. Her oversized backpack bounces up of down as she runs.
Ruel: I hate school.
Adalyn: Relatable, but I've got you!
Ruel: Yeah!
The bell rings and Ruel pulls Adalyn along the halls. He runs too fast for Adalyn to keep up.
Ruel suddenly stops at a classroom. Room 140.
In elementary there was only one class. There was no Chemistry Class, Robotics, etc.
On the class door there was a list of the students who were assigned to the class. On the list, Ruel and Adalyns names were on it.
Ruel: YAY WE'RE IN THE SAME CLASS
Adalyn: OH YA
They both jump up and down squealing.
Flashback Over

The photo was of Ruel and I in our uniforms. It was taken on our first day at school.
I spot another photo. This time it was a Polaroid.
Flashback- 15 yr old Ruel and Adalyn
Ruel: H-hi Adalyn.
Adalyn: Hi?
Ruel was acting very wierd. His face was very red and he kept fidgeting with his fingers.
Adalyn: Everything good?
Ruel: yeah...
Adalyn: You look like a tomato HAHA
Ruel: Do I look that bad?
Adalyn: Gasp* are you saying that tomatoes look bad?
Ruel chuckles.
Ruel: I guess. Umm. I have something to tell you.
Adalyns eyebrows furrow.
Adalyn: Okay. What's up?
Ruel: I-I...LIKE YOU
Ruel blurts out. There's silence.
Ruel: I mean... I-I know you p-probrably don't lik-
Adalyn cuts Ruel off by hugging him.
Adalyn:I like you too.
She pulls away to find a huge smile plastered on Ruel's face.
Adalyn: So?
Ruel: So, what?
Adalyn: What are we?
Ruel: Oh. Eh em. Miss Adalyn, will you be my girlfriend?
Ruel says in a funny/snobby accent. He puts his arm behind his back.
Adalyn: Of course!
Adalyn says, joining in on the accent.
Flashback Over
The polaroid was of Ruel and I smiling widely. It was taken on the day we became a "thing".

Note: Hope you guys enjoyed this chapter! I just wanted to include some parts of how Ruel and Adalyn are together. The book started with them together.
    As you read, Ruel and Ady (Adalyn) have been besties forever! They were childhood friends then became a couple.
