"Are you finally talking to me?" Harry asks as Quinn and Isabella stop in front of the trio. Quinn just rolls her eyes and ands him the letter their mother had sent her as his smirk turns to confusion. "What's this?" He asks but she doesn't reply and just looks at Hayley. It had been a week since the incident and she still refused to speak a single word to her brother. Even at her tryouts when he came and cheered her on the whole time. She got so annoyed she launched one right at him that would've hit them had Hayley not reflected it with a spell.
"You know that hero gala thing?" She asks as Hayley nods. "Well, Isabella, Lily and I are going but we need new dresses as does Lizzie and Liv, can you take us out to Hogsmeade please?" Fourth year and below were only allowed out only a few times a year, but as long as Hayley was with them, they could sneak out without getting caught.
"Yeah, sure. How about tomorrow, after dinner. We can be gone and back before anyone notices." Quinn nods and thanks her and is about to leave when the voice she's been ignoring speaks up again. Why couldn't he take a hint and leave her alone? Flint had, in fact he had been ignoring her ever since she came back to the common room after the fight. She was planning on lecturing him about the prank but he wouldn't even talk to her and would just walk away when she came close. That was another reason why she was annoyed at her brother.
"James and I will come with you." She shoots him a murderous look as Hayley sighs and James looks at him confused. What was he thinking? Even Isabella was surprised seeing as everyone knew the standard Quinn cooling time was two weeks. Before that, she won't listen to a word you'd say. He of all people should know that. "What? We need new dress robes." He argues as he crosses his arms waiting to see if Quinn will say anything. There was a fight going on in her head about whether to tell him to fuck off or just ignore him, both now and at Hogsmeade. She decides on the latter and says goodbye to James and Hayley before leaving making Harry sigh. "She hates going shopping with me, I thought it might make her talk to me." He explains as James pats his back and they start walking again.
"Harry you know how she gets when you get into fights. And this one wasn't just with a stranger, it was with her boyfriend who won't speak to her right now because of you." He knew he shouldn't of but the news that the idiotic Slytherin wasn't talking to his sister meant that they were going to break up and he couldn't help the smile that set to his face. "Stop it Harry. This is why she's mad at you." Yeah, his sister really was mad at him right now. He hadn't even thought about Quinn when he'd went looking for Flint and Rowle, only that he wanted to punch them in their smirking faces.
Somehow, the teachers hadn't found out which meant that his mum didn't know and that Quidditch was safe for now. "You say that like it's my fault, how did Fred react when you started dating Edwin Connors and how would you react if Lily had a boyfriend." Hayley went pink at the mention of Edwin as James just shrugged thinking it over.
"I mean I'd be fine with it but that's just because I know that whoever she dates would have to get through Quinn and Isabella first so if they're good enough to get through those two then they're probably alright for her. I'd still have a chat with him though, but I wouldn't beat him up unless he hurt her."
