"Is there a reason that you've been trying to talk to me for the last five minutes?" James asks smirking at the smaller girl beside him who immediately scoffs. "Come on, I know I'm amazing to stare at but you're starting to look a little creepy." James nudges Quinn, who rolls her eyes and crosses her arms over her chest, but sighs.
"I just wanted to say thank you but didn't know how to do it without increasing your already ginormous ego. But yeah, thanks for being an idiot. You're so good at it that you helped me forget about some stuff." James laughed at her version of a thank you, but appreciated it none the less.
"You're welcome Quinn. I know how to deal with the Malfoy temper by now and you're not that bad sometimes when you aren't trying to kick a ball into my stomach." He jokes playfully as she slaps him round the back of the head as a response.
"That was an accident but even if it wasn't, I'm not the one who couldn't get the ball into the net thing and kept hitting the side and you're the one who hit me in the face." She accuses playfully, a smile gracing her face at the memory of his guilty one when she turned round to pelt the ball back at him.
"Hey! I'm not that bad and I'm sorry about hitting you in the head, I just forget how much of a midget you are." That earned another slap to the back of the head and a groan in protest. "Would you stop doing that?"
"When you stop doing things that makes me want to hit you then I'll stop hitting you." She explains mockingly as if she were talking to a five-year-old. She might as well have been. His response was to simply pick her up and spin her round, which lead to a shriek of protest followed by another slap as she landed back on her feet. "Don't do that again." She ordered as he glared at her smirking. "I'm serious." She exclaimed before she took off running already knowing the idea growing in his head.
"How's your second year going?" Harry asks as his little sister yawns. She looked stressed, which although was nothing new seemed more so than usual for Lizzie Malfoy. She smiled up at her brother. "Good, it's been easier to settle in this year than last year because it's not all new, you know what I mean? I mean, some of the girls are still a bit mean but Ryan shuts them up a lot of the time." She babbled as Harry's head shot round suspiciously.
