jungkook looked at taehyung from across the lunch room, seeing the way he was hanging with someone different. his boxy smile had made jungkook's heart feel something he didn't feel in a long time since his last relationship. he called it love. other's called it happiness. the way it was placed out to other's might've looked like a scene from z-o-m-b-i-e-s. no one really knew it was different. jungkook wanted taehyung to feel happiness, even if he had to pay  someone. "yo, kook what do you think about these lyrics?" hoseok, jungkook's best friend/teammate asked. hoseok handed jungkook the notebook, pulling him back into the table's conversation.

Like cherry blossoms when being scattered in the wind
Like morning glory when fading
Like that beautiful moment
I always want to be the best
So I was impatient and always restless
Comparing myself with others became my daily life

as jungkook scanned over those lyrics he related to them. in ways some people could, but not many. "i think they're great hyung." jungkook commented. "thanks kook!" hoseok smiled and took back his notebook. "no problem." he trailed off as he went back to staring at taehyung who was staring at him. jungkook smirked and waved hi. taehyung smiled and waved back. the two boys stayed like that until jungkook was pulled into a conversation of game plays.
