Little Touch of Heaven

3; True Face: Raven

Hayley's and Raven's apartment;

At 4 AM:

Raven unlocks her room door and walks to the rooftop to look at the sun while it's still rising.  On her way to the rooftop, she sees Kevin in the balcony but she decides to ignore him. Raven is wearing a white short nightgown with a white transparent robe, and Kevin is wearing a blue tank top and white shorts. Mason is sleeping on the couch and covered with a blanket looking like a burrito. Alexander and Hayley are still sleeping.

Raven's Pov:

I like to see the sunrise because it is such a beautiful view, sometimes I wonder if the sun knows how much people adore the way it looks when it rises and sets. I like to wake up early just to see the sunrise, It's one of the peaceful moments. As I entered the roof, the wind pushed my hair and my robe to the back, I like to think of it as if its way of saying "Welcome back".  A couple of minutes before the sunrise I like to think about everything that I want to throw away. I like to think about how an old "friend" that I cherished so much just threw me under the bus without giving it much thought. In Middle School, I used to go to visit my ancestors in their village a lot to the point I made a friend there, Rosalie. Time passed we became close friends, until one day she started to treat me like shit and I allowed her to do so. I reached to the point that I had enough and just stopped going to the village and blocked her out of my life. When I decided to just confront her, she gave me the victim card and kept telling me that I am not a victim and I am the one who did this to our friendship. It hurt that she didn't even realize what she was doing to me and it kept a scar in my heart. Its been two years, but I am not able to recover, every time I think I am, I just get worse. Years, months, and days have passed, and all I seem to do is get worse to the point I started hurting myself. Yeah, I always come to the rooftop because of the sunrise but also because it's my hideout.

Raven starts to cry when the sun starts to rise. Raven wears her headphones and start hearing " Dusk Till Dawn" by Zayn ft. Sia

In the Balcony;

Kevin POV:

I couldn't sleep because I can't stop thinking about Raven, I am really worried about her. I have never seen Raven cry,  we used to call Raven the "Strong-bird.", but now that I think about it every time we called her that we hurt her because she is not strong as she seems. I decided to walk back to the living room, that's when I noticed Raven's room unlocked and open. I knocked on the door before I entered but no one answered so I assumed something bad might have happened to Raven so I entered her room I was shocked. Raven's room is just dark, the walls are wine in color, her bed is straight-up black, and everything is just dark. I looked for Raven in the room but I couldn't find her that's when I noticed drops of blood on the floor. I followed the drops of blood and It lead me to the rooftop, at this point I was scared. What is Raven doing on the rooftop and why is she bleeding? I opened the roof door so fast that I scared Raven.

"Fuck! What's wrong with you? You scared the shit out of me." Raven said as her fire veins light up.

"Are you okay?" I asked concernedly.

"Why wouldn't I be? I am just watching the sunrise." Raven said confused.

"There are drops of blood in your room so I followed it and it lead me to here." I said as I was walking to sit beside her.

"I will not ask about why did you even enter my room. Why are you awake anyway?" Raven asked.

"Don't try to escape from my question? Why are you bleeding?" I asked.

"Look I don't want-" Raven tried to say but I interrupted her.

"No. Just no. I know we have been friends-maybe for less than a day and I said I would give you your space but not when you are obviously hurting yourself." I said frightened.

"You don't know what you are talking about." Raven said while sounding hurt.

"Then let me know." I said.

"It is too early." Raven said.

" Raven I can make this all go away if you want." I offered.

" If I lose this memory then I wouldn't know who I am anymore, I would lose myself forever." Raven said.

"Can I see the memory? Can I see what has been hurting you?" I asked.

" I would say no but you are the only  friend that knows and I might actually trust." Raven said.

" You will relive the moments, take a deep breath, because this is going to hurt." I said

Kevin uses his power to access her memories while Raven starts to cry as she relives the moments.

Meanwhile with Hayley:

Hayley's POV:

I woke up but Alexander was not there. I opened my bedroom door and found Mason sleeping on the couch. Mason looked like a burrito which made me laugh, that's when I heard him say "What are you looking at, Bambi?". Did Mason just call me "Bambi"? Alexander doesn't have nicknames for me while Mason does wow interesting." Uh, nothing just that you look silly." I said embarrassed. "Sure sure sure sure. " Mason said.

"What time is it? Mason asked.
"It's almost 7 AM I think" I said.
"Uhh I need to stretch my arms they are sore, I need
a massage." Mason said as getting up from the couch half-naked.
"I can massage them for you" I said without thinking at all.
"Are you sure?" Mason asked weirdly.
"Sure why not?" I said.
"I am grateful to have you as my best friend , bambi" Mason said smiling.
Why did I feel sad when he said "as my best friend"? Fucking hell. I started massaging his shoulders with essential oils, but I accidentally dropped one so I bent down to get it but he also tried to get it. That was when Mason and I were so close that I could feel his breath on my lips.
"Ehm, my shoulders are better now. Thank you Hayley." Mason said awkwardly.
"Sure anytime." I said blushing.
Mason is giving me mixed signals and I don't understand any of them. At first Mason was calling me Bambi now he is calling me by my name?
The fuck is going on?

Mason entered the bathroom and Hayley went back to her bedroom.

Back to Kevin and Raven at the rooftop:

Kevin POV:

"It's okay, everything gets better right?" I said not sure.
"It's been two years, so no I don't think so" Raven said.
"I am always here for you, princess." I said smiling.
" Yeah I know, talking about it with someone made me feel better. Thank you." Raven said trying to smile.
"Is your wound opening up again?" I asked looking at her wrist.
"Yeah, don't worry it closes up right away." Raven said assured.
"Could I get a hug?" I asked to lighten up the mood.
"Yeah, sure." Raven said laughing and going in for a hug.
" So now we are friends, we passed the maybe-friends zone?" I asked her laughing.
"Dummy." Raven said laughing while leaning on me.

We stayed like that for half an hour until she fell asleep on me. I am making progress and I can tell she likes me now. I hope Mason is doing as well with his crush.

Wait what hold up, Mason has a crush? Who is that? Is she someone in the circle or outside? What happened to Alexander, where did he disappear to? Is Raven going to date Kevin in the future? What will happen with Mason, Hayley, and Alexander now?
