Little Touch of Heaven

Episode 8; Ancestors

At the living room in the Boys' Hangout apartment:

Kevin carried Raven and put her on the couch, and he proceeded to cover her with a blanket. Kevin held Raven's hand and he slept beside her on the floor until the ancestors arrived the next day.

The next day;

Kevin's POV:

I woke up and Raven was still out, I was worried because she has already lost a lot of blood. I went to the kitchen to get me and the others tea while we wait for our ancestors to come. As I finished doing the tea and distributing it, we heard knocking on the door. Hayley ran to open the door, it was the ancestors. The ancestors are three, Scarlett, she has all access to all powers basically she is the strongest one of them. While beside Scarlett we have Ethan, they call him "the peaceful' he can take any pain away by just touching the person. Then lastly we have is Aria, she has the power of all manipulations. You may ask if Scarlett basically has all the powers why isn't she the only ancestor because she can't do this alone that's why we were separated into a circle when we were young. It makes us stronger but now that one of us has turned against us, it can ruin all of us.

"What happened?" Scarlett asked.

"Alexander turned against us." Hayley said.

"No, not that. What happened to her, from where did she have these wounds?" Scarlett asked.

We all were drop-dead silent.

" Hayley, you know how dangerous for one of you girls to have a single wound. I will need help to know how she got these wounds." Scarlett asked.

"Ehm.." Hayley said.

"She did this to herself?" Ethan asked.

"Is that true?" Scarlett asked shocked.

"Yes, it is true. Is that what you wanted to hear? You are here asking questions while she is laying on the couch helpless! Do something!" I said.

"Calm down, mister." Aria said.

" Mason, take Kevin outside until we do our jobs." Scarlett said.

"Okay." Mason said while he took me outside.

"Hayley, stay." Scarlett told Hayley while stopping her from following the others.

"Of course, my lady." Hayley said.

"Aria, start by closing the wounds, please." Scarlett said.

Scarlett starts doing a blood transfusion by witch power, while Aria makes sure that she keeps the wounds closed. Hayley stays back, and they make her observe the pain of her best friend. Raven starts to tremble and starts to scream out of pain.

"Ethan, your turn!" Scarlett said loudly while trying to continue her blood transfusion.

"You can rest now." Ethan said as he touches Raven's forehead.

Raven shut down and Hayley is freaked out from what she just saw. Mason and Kevin ran back to the apartment as soon as Raven stops screaming. Raven is still trembling.

"What happened?" Mason asked.

" We are done here, she will have some side effects for a little while but she will be better and yes she will remember everything even the little seconds ago. That is why she is trembling right now her mind is still trying to understand, but it gets better." Aria said.

"But before we leave, we have to talk about what I saw happening to her. Where is Alexander right now?" Scarlett asked.

"We don't know." Mason said.

" I will let you be alone for now, but I will give you 2 weeks to find that traitor or Raven gets a little bit of pain every second you are late." Scarlett said as they left.

"She is going to be so damaged." Kevin said upset while he was pushing Raven's hair off her face gently.

"She is going to be alright, she is strong." Mason said as he put his hand on Kevin's shoulder.

" Yeah, come on guys she is Raven the strongest of all of us." Hayley said trying to not cry.

3 Days have passed and Raven is acting weird. Raven and Kevin became distant while Mason and Hayley got closer.
School Hallway:
"Hey guys, I dyed my hair!" Rachel said cheerful.
"We don't really care, Rachel." Raven said as she closed her locker and left.
"Ouch?" Rachel said confused.
"Ignore her this days, it's her hormones." Hayley said.
"Your hair looks amazing by the way." Mason said.
"Thank you?" Rachel said.
"Okay I'm going to leave before this gets even more awkward." Rachel said as she left.
"Hey!" Kevin said entering the hallway.
"Did anybody see Raven?" Kevin asked.
"Oh man you just missed her" Mason said.
"Damn." Kevin said upset.
"What's wrong?" Hayley asked.
"She has been acting very distant since you know." Kevin said.
"Tried to make her remember your moments?" Hayley asked.
"You know what that is a great idea." Kevin said as he ran to find Raven.
"Now that we are alon.." Mason said as the bell rings.
"Oops another time." Hayley said as she slipped of Mason's arms and left smiling.
In the School's Garden:
"Raven hold up!" Kevin said.
"What do you want, Kevin?" Raven said annoyed.
"What happened to you?" Kevin asked as he was trying to catch his breath.
"What do you mean? I'm absolutely fine." Raven said.
"You have been reckless lately." Kevin said.
"Excuse you?" Raven said confused.
"Don't you remember when you and I were watching the sunrise and you told me how happy it makes you. It makes you happy all day. Sunrise and Sunset never stop so what's wrong?" Kevin said pensively.
"to be honest I just don't know." Raven said upset.
"I have been feeling down lately everything seems to annoy me lately. Feels like I hate everything that used to make me happy." Raven said.
"I didn't tell you this before because I was anxious but I think am falling for you."
"what..!" Raven said as her jaw dropped.
"It's true I'm falling for you." Kevin admitted.
"I didn't expect this now." Raven said.
"Sorry I have to leave.." Raven said running.
"wait.." Kevin said as he felt heartbroken.
Kevin's POV:
I didn't expect this.. Raven hurt me badly by leaving me alone. She could have told me something like "I'm sorry but I don't feel the same." but just leaving makes this more hurtful. When Scarlett said that Raven will have some side effects I didn't think it would be being ruthless. I don't even know how I feel towards her anymore is it hate? love? I don't know.
"Hey is everything okay man?" Mason said as he was walking.
"Yeah.." I said upset.
"I'm here for you if you want to talk." Mason said.
"Do you like ever have classes?" I asked.
"I do but I skip them because they are shit just like your mood right now." Mason said laughing.
"Yeah sure. If anyone asked say I left early because I'm sick." I said as I started walking away.

What will happen between Kevin and Raven? When will Raven stop being reckless? 11 days left, will they find Alexander? If they don't, what will happen to Raven?
