I know it's not just me.
That moment when we get emotionally attached to a side character, and then they die.
Im going to reference werewolf books. There's the alpha, luna, then beta. For me the side character is usually the beta, but it can also be the betas cousins friend named Alice who drops by every now and then to spend time with the Luna when she is by herself.
She dies.
And usually whenever they die, if we love that character, we would feel just as sad as the main character dying.
