This is always so sad 😔
When there is a similar story better than mine.

Not all of you are authors, but this is still frustrating. This is usually the process:
1. We get an excellent story idea
2. We start writing that story getting all excited, becoming more and more motivating.
3. We look for other stories to see if anyone took our idea.

That is when we find out that someone has something VERY similar and made it better. That's when we just think "why do this anyways if someone already accomplished what I could never?" and then give up.
Even if I don't give up I still get a little discouraged and wonder "How can I make my book better?" I mean, they only have 17 million views and 5 million votes, no biggie. They only have 50 thousand followers, no biggie They really don't make it easy.
And then there's the other authors who just don't care. There could be 34 other stories/ideas like that, and they wouldn't budge on the slightest. What can I say. Can't relate 🤗.
