Fuck Preston.

Those are my only words! Fuck Preston! Seriously.

Preston, instead of a normal camp fucking activity, decided that we would be putting on a play. Not only that a good play takes over THREE MONTHS to perfect, but I had to be casted lead role?

I think the kid has it out for me. Not only am I lead role, but second lead role is this bitch Y/n. Newest member of the camp.

She has stupid pretty e/c eyes, h/l h/c hair, and she's pretty short/tall too. I thought she'd be cool to have in our group, since she dressed like a trouble maker but guess what?!

She said I was shit for treating David the way I do. In her words "David may be annoying as hell, but seriously? You're such a piece of shit. Fuck off"

Those words are burnt through my soul. I can't get them out of my mind, I hate seeing her. Weird feeling in my stomach. It pisses me off.

Ever since then we insult each other and—Well, thinking about it, it's more her just listening to them while making fun of my insults. She's never actually insulted me, entirely.

But the absolute worst part about this shitty play, is that it's a romance! AND, there's a kiss scene!

I told Neil and Nikki we needed to escape immediately. But Neil declined, saying that this was revenge for making fun of him when he had to kiss Nikki.

Might I add—He didn't even end up kissing her!

Plus, that was four years ago. Stupid Neil. Stupid Preston! Stupid Y/n! Stupid Summer Play!

"Max stop groaning, it's getting annoying."

Oh yeah. We're also tent buds. Way to go David. Like, seriously? It's impossible to sleep knowing this bitch is beside me. I always wanna see.. Her? No. That's not it. That can't be it. I always wanna glare at her.

Her soft expression when she sleeps is so peaceful. I... Hate it.

"Max. Dude. Reality is here, not whenever you are." She sighed.

"What?!" I snapped and glared at her. She widened her eyes slightly, but only for a moment. I caught her off guard. "Dude. The play is in half an hour, you got your lines memories?" She asked.

"Of course I do!" I glare.

If i'm being honest, Theatre is pretty cool. I've always wanted to act. But Preston ruined it for me. So, I pretend I hate it.

"Oh wow. Really?" She said, sounding genuinely surprised. "I still have a couple that I don't know by heart." She mumbled.

"If you can't remember, improvise. You're not that bad at acting so you could pull it off—" I cut myself off in shock. Did I just compliment this whore?

Y/n tensed up, she looked over at me trying to read my expression. We felt the same way—confusion.

She then let out a soft laugh. "...Thanks, Max." She smiles. "Whatever. I didn't even mean it. I should start going." I tense up and walk out of the tent.

"H-Hey! I'm going too!" Y/n yells as I start walking faster.

"There my two love birds are! Chop Chop. C'mon! Plays in two minutes!" Preston yelled.

"Preston, what's the hurry anyway? It's the last week of summer. So it doesn't even matter." Y/n said plainly. "Exactly! We need to make it memorable!" He shouted.
