17.) Dorms

The teachers of UA were being moved in the day before the students did.

Hibiki looks around her penthouse, hoping she got everything. She really doesn't want to have to make the trip back. She picks up her last box and takes the elevator downstairs to the awaiting moving truck.

She gets in the truck after putting the box in the trunk. "Thanks, Seiuna."

The galaxy-haired girl smiles, putting the car into drive and taking off. "No problem, boss."

"Just call me Hibiki. We aren't at the agency, so there's no need for such formalities."

"Okay," she nods a little rigidly.

Hibiki laughs. "No need to be so tense. I'm not gonna bite you or fire you. You've been with me since you graduated high school. I'm not getting rid of you."

Seiuna lets out a big sigh as her shoulders slump. "Sorry."

"Stop apologizing," Hibiki laughs. "Take this upcoming left."

The sidekick does as told and turns. "Where are we going?"

"Gonna pick up a coworker. It's the building at the end."

"Okay."

Seiuna takes up a parking spot, and Hibiki gets out. She heads up to Aizawa's apartment, knocking before entering. She blinks at seeing the apartment completely empty, well more than it usually is. Boxes line the wall beside the door. "Wow, so empty."

"That's cause I'm canceling the lease."

Hibiki looks to Aizawa exiting the kitchen. "Really? Why?"

"Well, there's no point if I'm not going to live here. I figure I'm still going to be a teacher for a long time, so I'm not going to be leaving the dorms anytime soon."

"What about your big furniture?"

"Getting it later."

"I rented a big moving truck. We can take it now along with all your boxes. We have plenty of room left."

He blinks. "Uh, yeah, that'd be nice."

Hibiki immediately clones out about 50 clones to take all his stuff down to the truck. Dresser, mattress, bed frame, couch, tv, and all.

"Now the place is really empty," she comments. "You should really get some decorative things."

"That's a women thing," he says. "That's not going to happen unless my future wife happens to do that. If I ever even get married or find someone for that matter."

She smiles. "I guess that makes sense. I feel the same way." She looks around. "Ah, where are your kitties?"

"They're already at the dorm rooms."

"Ah." She turns out the door. "Let's go then."

"I gotta turn in my keys. I'll meet you outside."

She nods, leaving the building into the car.

"Where's your friend?" Seiuna asks as Hibiki closes the door.

"He'll be here in a minute."

"He?" she grins. "Oooh~"

Hibiki chuckles. "Now, now, there's nothing going on." She grins. "But you and Hawks?"

Seiuna scoffs. "No."

The two laugh.

Hibiki sighs. "No, there's nothing going on. At least... I don't think so? It doesn't feel that way. We've gotten really close though. Romantically though? I don't think so."
