Bella Oakley ^^^ (Sorry her face is cut off. The pic isn't mine.)

Me and my mom had already been here a week before Ryan and Liam arrived at the beach house. They had been at an invitation soccer camp in Northwest South Carolina. I played soccer too but not as serious as my brother or Liam.

When I heard the car door slam, I immediately knew it was them. I rushed out the door with my hair in a messy bun, peach Santa Cruz shirt, light blue jean shorts, and Birkenstocks, running as fast as I could to hug my brother, who I haven't seen in a year due to my parents divorce.

My parents divorced last year in late May because the tension in the house was just to much. My dad took Ryan and moved to Atlanta, Georgia, and me and my mom stayed in Charlotte, North Carolina. Our parents needed a break from each other so they never let us visit. And we didn't even go to the beach house that summer.

Ryan picked me up, spun me around, and put me back down again.

"I swear, you've gotten taller." Ryan said.

"I'm only 5 '6. I'm not that tall." I replied.

"I didn't say you were tall, I said you've gotten taller." Ryan clarified.

"Touché." I said.

I looked past Ryan and was almost startled by Liam standing there. I guess I forgot he existed for a second. "Hey, Liam. Glad you came." I said with a welcoming smile. I hugged him because I didn't even dare to do a handshake. It was actually the first time I had ever done that and I got a buzz from it. He was warm and smelled like laundry detergent.

"Hey Bella, long time no see." He said, jokingly said since I'd seen him on the last day of school just two weeks before.

Liam was Ryan's best friend since sixth grade. I guess we have grown to become friends since he hung out with Ryan a lot before he moved to Georgia, but that was really the only reason. We were friends through Ryan. He said "Hi" in the halls but nothing more. I can admit he was cute though. Light brown fluffy hair shorter at the sides, deep brown eyes, a three inch scar along his jawline, and a classic six foot one body.

I've always liked Liam. He's a lovable kind of boy. Shy at first but then he becomes himself. I know because he acts way different at school than at home. He really does care about anyone and everyone and sticks up for them. One time, Ryan ordered me to get out of his room but Liam invited me to stay. That's when I started to have some sort of feelings.

"Alright Liam, Bella can show you your room while me and Ryan get the stuff out of the car." My mom called. I turned to Liam.

"Come on. I think you'll like it." I said, motioning towards the side door.

"Yea, Ryan was telling me all about this place. And you." Liam said, then smiled with his pearly white teeth.

"Well." I said, then I flipped my hair and laughed lightly. I turned around and I could already tell he was blushing, even through that light tan.

He grabbed his suitcase and I helped him drag it up the stairs and through the door. Then, up another set of stairs until he could actually roll it down the hall. My room was on the left, Ryan's was on the right, and the guest was the last room at the very end of the hall. I kicked the door open with my foot to reveal a king bed right in front of you, a dresser on the left, closet on the right, and a TV next to the door.

"Well, this is your new home for three months, so enjoy." I started.

Liam looked around the room.

"You need help?" I finished.

"Nah, I'll unpack my clothes, then you can give me the tour." Liam said.
