I wake up to the sun peaking through my white curtains and the light conversation between Ryan and Liam. I creeped out of bed, careful not to make a sound. I sat down, peeking down through the rails of the balcony.

"Bro, I'm super sorry. I was just so pissed and that scene gave me a flashback." Ryan apologized.

"No, no. I fully understand. It's just that I've never experienced that before, but I still know the pain."

"Thanks, it means a lot for you to forgive me."

"Yea, no problem."

I heard them dab-up, then bring it in with a hug.

"So besides that. You and Bella, huh?" Ryan said.

"What about it?"

"You like her."

"No, she's your sister. And you're my best friend."

Pause.

"Liam, I've known you long enough for me to know when you're lying."

"I'm not lying, I swear!"

"Liam, if you don't like her, then what did I walk into?"

"Uh."

"Yea, exactly."

Silence.

"Well, I know for a fact that you like her so I just wanted to tell you that it's fine with me if you like her. And I know that she likes you too, so tell her."

I heard Liam laugh and then his approaching footsteps. I silently but quickly tip-toed back to my room and crawled back into bed and flipped over so my back was facing away from anyone who walked in.

Liam slowly opened the door and crawled into bed with me. He spooned me, wrapping his arms around my torso. I pretended to wake up and roll over.

"Hey." I said. Liam kissed me.

"Hey." Liam responded. "You look beautiful."

I smiled. My eyes trailed from his soft brown eyes to his lips. I stroked down his bottom lip with my thumb, revealing his pearly white teeth for a fraction of a second. Liam reached over me, grabbing my shorts and pulling me into a saddle on him. He sat up with me but I was still taller. I took his face in my hands and kissed him as his hands slipped around my waist. He laid back, resting his head and neck against the head of my bed. His hands trailed from my hips to the band of my shorts. He ran the tip of his finger under my waistband like I had done a week before. I shivered a little from the buzz it gave me. He pulled them down ever so slightly. I raised my eyebrows as he gave me "That" look.

"Not right now. I just woke up." I said, since I needed a break.

"Fine. What else do you want to talk about then?" Liam asked, raising his eyebrow. I thought for a minute.

"Please tell me where your scar came from." I pleaded. Liam frowned and the life drained out of him.

"Anything but that."

"You said you'd tell me!"

"Not right now. I'm happy now. I don't need to be thinking about it."

"Please, Liam."

He calmed down.

"No, not now. I just wanna be happy now."

And that's the last thing I remember before I entered dreamland.
