Trigger warning-Violence, abuse, sad Virgil.

Virgil didn't know how he always got into these situations, but here he was tied to a longer rope. He was on a food run for his group, and he had been caught by bandits. He had been over hearing that they were going to sell him to someone. He was terrified and hungry, they hadn't fed him since they had caught him. He still had untreated bruises from the fight he put up.

Virgil was tired as the tall bandent yanked on the end of rope that he had in his hand. "Come on brat. The boss wants you." Virgil froze at this, he had been on the run from a man who had raped his mother, the man was known as the leader of a well known camp of thieves. He's known as Anger, and he had 'named' Virgil, anxiety, but his new family had named him Virgil... 'crap my family they must be worried sick by now.' Virgil thought.

Virgil while on the run had met a group that had called themselves the sides, their leader had found him trying to steal from the food storage. The leader named Thomas Sanders, went by 'The host'. This group didn't really go by their code names like the group that Virgil had grown up in. The second in commands name was Patton, Morality, Then the plan master was Logan, Logic, The guard that Virgil had slipped by was Roman, Creativity, His twin who also was a guard was Remus, Instructive thinking(IT), Then there was Deceit, Thomas was the only one who knew his name.

Virgil almost collapsed when the bandit tugged on the other end of the rope, only just barely caught himself. The bandit rolled his eyes. They spent another hour walking, when Virgil realised where they were. He started to struggle against the rope and the bandits hold, he though he would never be here again. His 'home''.

The tall bandit ended having to pick up and throw Virgil over his shoulder to get him inside. Even with how thin Virgil is he is strong and can struggle out of most people's grip. The bandit went inside with Virgil kicking him. The Bandit finally put Virgil on the ground but immediately forced him onto his knees in front of the man he never wished to see again. Anger

Virgil ducked his head to avoid the man he ran from, only to have his hair yanked back up to face Anger. "Well lookie her, my tradious b!tch of a son." He growled.

2 Hours later Virgil POV

He left me in his office after he used me as a punching bag. He had tied my hands to his desk leg, not that I could leave if I wanted to. I hear a gunshot outside the office, as my vision gives out letting me drift into unconsciousness.

When I woke up I was shocked to see the medical wing at the sides base, not the hard floor of my 'father's office. I groan as I feel my body catching up to my body, the pain fully hitting me. Someone must have heard cause I heard a few sets of feet out in the hall. "Virgil?" Patton asks as he enters the room, I groan as light floods the room.

"Pat? What h-happe-.." I had to stop talking because of my dry throat. Pat fully enters the room giving me a hug. I look at the door to see Deceit and Thomas. I tilt my head confused.

"You gave us quite the scare there kid." Thomas says. I cringe at that nickname, just because I'm smaller and younger then them DOESN'T mean they can call me kid. "We found you passed out at the enemy base in Anger's office. What happened?" I forget that I hadn't told them that I was a monster's child.

"I-...I don't know where to start." I mumble only Patton hearing me. Pat pulls back looking me dead in the eye.

"At the beginning kiddo." He says comfortingly. I look away toward Deceit who hasn't said a word.

"I-......My mother was a baker and had meet this thief..." I went on telling them my story trying myself not to cry. By the end I was avoiding eye contact. I take a chance to look at their faces. Thomas has a look of pure terror, and rage. Patton looks like he might punch Anger. And Deceit... his scared me the most. He had no emotion on his face but if you looked into his mismatched eyes you could see an over-protectiveness that might as well be on a older brother. Deceit walks up to me.

He raises his arms as if he might hit me. Instead he hugged me whispering in my ear. "Not all family is blood. Even Your blood can be a stranger."
