I lay on my bed with closed eyes.

I open them.
I rise from the bed and stand.
My TV plays in the background as I gather my mind.
"Mom and Dad aren't home." I realize.
"Today is the day."
I go to my parents' shed in the backyard and grab a rope.
I bring into my room and tie it to my ceiling fan.
I then bring in a chair from the dining
room and place it directly under the rope.
I tie the rope into a noose and stand on the chair.
...
I put my head into the circle and stand on the edge of the chair.
But as soon as I'm about to kick down the chair...
...Something on the TV gets my attention.
I take my head out and step off the chair.
I stare at my TV.
"..."
"..."
"...Actually..."
...
"There's one more thing I want to do before I die..."
