The nerve of Sasuke to corner Sakura when Kiba isn't here pisses me off. I told him to stop, told him that this "plan" of his wasn't going to work but he is determined as ever.
Hinata can tell something is up. I'm still in shock that she didn't want ramen, then again with the way I have been acting who can blame her. I have been on edge and stressed beyond my limits with this whole situation with Sasuke.
I shove my hands deep into the pockets of my school uniform and slowly trail behind the girls. They are talking in a hushed tone which I don't mind but Sasuke is obviously trying to listen in on their conversation. I shoot him a glare, letting him know I am not happy about his actions.
"What's your problem?" he asks with a cocked eyebrow.
I narrow my eyes at him further. "My problem?" I ask in an angry hushed voice. "What's your problem, stalking Sakura and trying to cause problems where there aren't any?" I accuse.
Sasuke rolls his eyes at me. "You're still caring on about that I see." He mutters.
I want to say a few choice words to him but I've run out of time as we approach the door to the pizzeria.
"After you," Sasuke says as he offers the girls a smile and holds the door open for them.
Brownnoser...
I follow everyone to a booth and am relieved to see that Hinata is sitting next to Sakura. For once I feel myself smile a little. Even without knowing what is going on Hinata still doesn't want Sasuke sitting next to Sakura, that's my girl.
"So Sakura, how are your classes going so far?" Sasuke asks casually as we all sit and wait for our menus.
Sakura shrugs and starts to fidget with one of the napkins at the table. "So far so good I suppose. No real homework as of yet so can't really complain."
Sasuke chuckles. "Even if there was homework you wouldn't complain. It comes so easily for you." He says with a smile.
I watch as Sakura chuckles and nods. "True point."
An older lady comes and takes our order. We end up getting a Hawaiian pizza because even though I know Sasuke hates pineapple just like I do he argued with me until I threw my hands up in frustration and gave up on pepperoni.
Sakura and Sasuke are just starting to settle down from laughing when I hear Hinata groan from across the table.
I look over to see Hinata trying to shrink back into the booth like she is trying not to be seen. "You okay?" I ask in a soft voice.
"Hi guys!" A chipper voice says from the other side of Sasuke. The realization hits me as I turn to find Hanabi standing next to the table. "Can I join?"
Before I can tell her there isn't enough room in the booth Sasuke jumps up from his seat. "Here you can have mine, I'll just grab a chair."
I know that this year Hinata is very worried about Hanabi intruding in on her group of friends. Maybe that's why I find that I am even more annoyed with Sasuke now than I was at the beginning of the day.
Almost instantly it's obvious that Hanabi is starstruck by Sasuke. Before we know it Hanabi is engrossed in a conversation with Sasuke which he seems to be enjoying.
I can see that the more Sasuke talks with Hanabi the more relaxed Sakura gets. And of course, the more comfortable Sakura gets the tenser I seem to get. A horrible realization dawns on me, I won't be able to keep this secret much longer. I just hope that when I do burst that it's to the right person who will know what to do.
