Clarisse's point of view:

"Oh come on!" I growled at a camper who had been here for a few weeks, and I was stuck training him. The kid had just been claimed a few days ago, and since then was trying to be the best Ares kid there was. There was only one problem.

"You officially suck at sword fighting, kid," I told the 12-year-old, watching him pick up his sword after accidentally throwing it backward.

"But you're getting better!" Chris yelled from a couple of yards away, watching us fight as he cleaned practice swords.

"Thanks," The kid, Jacob, muttered.

"Maybe you should just stick to Archery," I said, sticking my sword in the dirt next to me.

"I am better at that," Jacob said, eyeing the Archery fields where mainly children of Apollo were hanging out.

"Knock yourself out," I said, noticing it, "Dinner's gonna be in a few minutes anyway."

I watched as Jacob excitedly ran over to the Apollo kids, Will Solace, the head of the Cabin, patted him on the back and welcomed him into the group.

I walked over to Chris, who was finishing his last sword.

I was about to ask him something, pertaining to the dragon guarding the Golden Fleece, since he was one of the Campers helping him when the dinner call interrupted me.

"Finally," Chris said, setting down the sword with the others, "I'm starving."

Chris stood, and put his arm around my shoulders, making me come with him to the Mess Hall.

I opened my mouth to try to ask him again when I was interrupted by the Hermes Cabin spotting us.

"Hey, Chris!" Conner Stoll yelled out from the small crowd, laughing as they all made their way to the Mess Hall.

"Hey, Conner!" Chris said back, grinning, and not seeing me growl at being interrupted again.

"I'll see you after dinner, Kay?" Chris said quickly, kissing my forehead and going over to the group.

I crossed my arms, and growled under my breath, hating being ignored and pushed to the side like that. He had good intentions, I knew that, but I was determined to ask at least one person about Peleus.

I walked into the Mess Hall and immediately found Will Solace, spotting his bright blonde hair, chatting with Nico Di Angelo, who was sitting next to him, despite definitely not being an Apollo kid. Chiron had given up a while ago trying to keep Nico at his own table, the two always said the same thing persistently, "Nico has a doctor's note." It was annoying how they were able to do a lot of things just by saying that. Though, the two did work well playing together on Capture the Flag. So, I respected that.

"Hey, Solace," I said, getting both of their attentions.

"Uh, yes?" He asked.

"How's the dragon holding up? Any news?"

Will and Nico glanced at each other and I immediately knew something was up, as he said, "Nothing new. Still sick. Nothin' we are doing is helping."

I growled under my breath and walked away.

If that dragon didn't get better soon we were all going to be in trouble.
