Chris's point of view:

Clarisse had been determined to make sure the camp had been safe the entire time she'de been here.  I was the same way.  All I wanted was for her and camp, and everyone in it to be safe.

Well, let's just say not everyone, or thing, thought that way.

"GORGON!"

Everyone turned, jumping up, and come running to safety, well, that's not the way it is when you are dating Clarisse.

"How did a Gorgon get inside the camp?!" Clarrise shouted, pulling me towards it.

The larger than-it-was-supposed-to-be-Gorgon was made of complete metal and gears, and at that moment was spewing fire from its mouth at the cabins.

"Hey! You big ugly beast!" Clarrise charged at it, grabbing a spear that had been abandoned and then trowing it.

It bounced off of it harmlessly, but it got its attention.

It hissed, and I could tell it looked just about ready to strike.

"Move!" I shouted at Clarrise jumping at her, and pushing the both of us out of the way, and then scrambling behind a cabin pulling my girlfriend with me.

I heard shouting from where we had come from, and the sound of raging fire at stopped, being replaced by a hissing noise.

We both went back, and saw that most of the camp was attacking it; throwing weapons; firing arrows; and the Hephaestus cabin climbing on top of it, and detaching it piece by piece.

Clarrise charged into battle again, breaking out a knife she always carried on her, and jumping onto the Gorgon.

I heard more hissing noise, but this time it didn't come from the Gorgon.

"THERE'S ANOTHER ONE!" Someone shouted, and I whipped around, seeing another come from the forest. The forest was starting to burn, and I hoped the Nymphs were alright. I slightly wished that Percy Jackson was there to put out the fire since everyone knew he could control water.

"We need to put out that fire!" I shouted, even though there were already people coming from the stream in the forest with buckets of water in their hands, and the Demeter kids separating the burning nature from the not-burning nature.

I rushed over to help them, and as I did I heard a large screech, and Tyson yelling, "PEANUT BUTTER!"

There was another loud screech and then a victory yell that I recognized as Clarrise.

After all the fire's were put out, the injured Nymphs and Campers were ut in the infirmary, and everyone had gathered around the disassembled Gorgons Chiron getting everyone's attention.

"Everyone off to bed! I understand there is a commotion, but this will be discussed tomorrow!"

Everyone stayed there for a moment, most of the teens wanting answers.

"Everyone go to your Cabins or I will start turning people into lizards!!" Mr. D shouted, greatly annoyed about how this decade was going.

Everyone went to their cabins, not wanting that, and as they did, I found Clarrise.

"Do me a favor and when we are on a quest don't charge into battle without thinking, ok?" I said, not unkindly.

"I did think," Clarrise said, "I thought Oh look a giant Gorgon that's burning the cabins let's kill it!"

"Okay, you have a good point," I smiled, and then kissed her forehead, the affection making her blush and punch me on the shoulder.

"See you in the mornin'," I said.

"See you in the morning."
