Juniper's point of view:

We went to the campfire with the demigods, which was something we didn't do often, but since we knew something was wrong, we stayed. I was concerned about going anywhere too far from my bush. Stay away from it for too long and I could die. But I was willing to take the risk for Grover. I would not be separated from him again.

"Juniper," Grover asked looking over at me curiously. I must have been looking concerned cause he immediately sensed it, and looked me in the eyes.

"I'm ok," I said, hoping to reassure him.

"We'll find a way to carry plenty of your berries with us, don't worry," Grover said, then turning because the fire had dimmed, it was a dark purple, indicating that I wasn't the only one feeling anxious. Chiron was now standing in front of it, and he said, "Campers! I'm sure everyone has noticed that Peleus has grown sicker by the day; and that we have not yet found a cure for him. We have contacted the gods on this matter, and still: No responses. Which is unlike the gods to do with a matter this urgent. So," He looked around, "We will be having a quest! Since this is not a normal quest-"

"No quests are normal," Grover muttered beside me.

"Only six people will go, and Grover and Juniper have already volunteered. Will anyone rise to the situation?"

It was quiet for a moment, seeming like everyone was trying to decide until two campers jumped up.

"We will go!" Will Solace said, holding Nico Di Angelo's hand, Will looking determined, and Nico looking like the guy he was holding hands with was crazy.

"We will too!" Chris Rodriguez said, standing up with Clarrise.

I felt something making the ground shake, and everyone must have been feeling it too because we all turned around, seeing Tyson the Cyclops coming towards the campfire, with Ella the Harpy on one of his shoulders.

"Can we go too? Pony Chiron?" Tyson asked.

"Ella and Tyson want to help Peleus," Ella said, as-a-matter-of-factly.

Chiron didn't look pleased with the overall idea especially since he was called pony again, but he looked around the group of campers and saw no else was going to volunteer.

"We have our eight!" Chiron announced, "You all leave first thing tomorrow, so please, pack your things, and say your farewells. As for the other campers: See you all in the morning!"

With that, everyone was dismissed, the fire growing darker and smaller by the minute, and my anxiety growing higher.

Sorry, the parts are so short! I'm used to writing longer parts, but I want to make sure that each of the characters gets their say in the story, so I'm trying to even everything out. Tell me if I should do longer parts, though, and I'll try to make them longer. Hope you still enjoyed!
