Kingdom of Power, of Courage, and of Wisdom is a cross fanfiction of both Kingdom and Legend of Zelda. I think Kingdom has a strong story foundation, and Legend of Zelda is open enough to adapt easily, fill in all the empty spaces, and expand it 50x over. I have found the fusion to be quite seamless myself. Almost natural.

Characters: The story includes many, many, MANY characters. Too many to list. Some characters are canon to Kingdom. Some characters are canon to Zelda. Some characters are Kingdom characters replaced by Zelda counterparts to fit the role. Some characters are straight up OC. I don't expect people to keep everyone straight especially as I allow some to be named the same because that is how common names work. I frequently include titles and positions alongside the characters to help make it easy.
Taboo subjects: This story touches on, without glorifying, many subjects and their repercussions including slavery, slave trade, rape, harlotry, death, mass genocide, child abuse, demons and demon worship, body/mind control, and war. It does NOT explore them graphically enough to be a mature story in my eyes, but it doesn't shy away form the fact it happens and is a part of the world and plot. I still try and keep it teenager-friendly while allowing the story to be dark.
LGBT:I know some people are uncomfortable with it, so I will lay out immediately what there is of it. One side character loved a woman, but the woman pretended to be a man to stay alive. He wanted to marry her and knew she was a woman. He pretended to be gay to make it happen. She died later. To keep her secret and honor, he continued to play his part as a gay man for the rest of his life. That's his back story. It has been 12+ years since then, and I don't know if its an act anymore or if he is bisexual. I don't know even as the writer. It has no relevance to the story past a certain point and isn't explored further enough to confirm. He might be, he might not.
