The Dangers of Escape

CHAPTER 10

Jonathan-
Evan pulls me outside. We have a huge TV set up under the awning for the ball drop in New York. Right now the party in Times Square is shown. Moo is cooking some steaks on the grill and I notice the outdoor bar has all kinds of liquor and Marcel is making a bunch of mixed drinks. The rest of the guys are playing basketball in the pool. Terrorizers' girl is sitting on the edge of the pool cheering him on. The atmosphere here is ecstatic.
Tyler picks up Craig and drops him in the pool.
"What the hell!" He screams then pulls Tyler in as well. I go over to Marcel.
"What can I get you today good sir?" Marcel says with his best butler impression.
"Rum and coke please, my good man."
"Coming right up!" I watch as he puts more rum than coke in the glass. He hands it to me. I sit down at the bar.
"So marcel, got a plus one coming tonight?"
"Yeah Simone is gonna come by after work."
"When does she get off?" I ask as I down my drink.
"She'll be here in about half an hour." He replies with a smile. "I'm glad you guys accept her." He adds softly and I laugh.
"Boy, any girl you're with we will support. Plus, she's awesome man!"
"Thanks!" He lines up all the drinks so we don't have to make a bunch every time we want one.
Evan comes up behind me and grabs a screwdriver.
"Hey baby, you come here often?" He winks at me and I crack up laughing.
"Why yes! In fact I live here." Evan starts laughing as well.
"Thanks for making a bunch of drinks Marcel." Evan says while taking a swig from the vodka bottle, which is promptly taken away by Marcel.
"No problem man."
Evan and Marcel start a conversation about new games coming out and I lose interest. I look around and notice Cartoonz get out of the pool. I walk over to him.
"Hey Luke, can I talk to you real fast?"
"Fuck yeah man, what's up?" He shakes the water off him like a dog.
"So, you're like a brother to me. You've known me the longest. Would you like to be my best man?" Cartoonz' face lights up.
"Of course Jon! Fuck yeah! I thought you'd never ask!" He gives me a bear hug, making me all wet.
"Damn it! I'm glad I wore swim trunks!" I gasp as I look down at my soaked shirt. I take it off. Normally I wouldn't because of all the scars, but it feels good to know that no one cares nor asks about them. I glance back over to Vanoss and see him eyeing me from a distance. Cartoonz notices.
"Bet you you're going to fuck him tonight." He nudges my side. I shake my head.
"No bet. I'm definitely going to be hitting that tonight." He laughs and I watch as Evan blows me a kiss and slowly takes off his own shirt. I feel myself start to get excited but I shake my head. It's only 10:30. We have a long night of partying ahead of us. I hear the guys yelling in the pool. The game must be over because Brian is yelling that they cheated.

"Steaks are done!" Moo yells as he puts the plate on the long table we have set up outside. I watch as all the guys in the pool jump out of the pool. Everyone makes their way over and grabs some fries and steak and sit down to eat. 
Evan sits next to me.
"Hey Jon what do you think of Moos cooking?"
I tear into my steak and feel like I'm in heaven.
"It's fucking amazing!" I feel his hand touch my thigh. My eyes shoot open. He lifts his eyebrows and slides his hand closer to my crotch. I moan softly.
"Damn Delirious! I didn't know you liked steak so much!" Tyler yells. I immediately blush and swat Evan's hand away. He chuckles and takes a drink.
"You're so bad Vanoss!" I whisper to him.
"Sorry, I get delirious when I drink." He giggles at his joke and I shake my head smiling.

Vanoss-
After dinner I pull Tyler aside.
"Hey Tyler I got a question for ya."
"Mhmm?"
"Would you be my best man?"
"Haha! Fuck man! Of course I will!" He jogs over time the bar and gets two buttery nipples and brings them back to me.
"We must commemorate this with some shots!" We both take them and then hug. This is fucking awesome.

((Time skip- 11:36 pm))
Drunk. We are all drunk. Simone got here awhile ago and Marcel and her are making out on top of the waterfall. Tyler and Craig are dancing. Panda and Smitty are joking around and laughing a lot. Everyone seems to be having a great time. I notice Nogla talking to Lui at the bar. I can tell Nogla is anxious. He needs some more liquid courage. I stumble over to them and place myself behind the bar.
"Lui I'm tellin ya, ye got to get back on YouTube! Minecraft is the huge ting now!"
He giggles.
"I don't even know how to play it Nogla." They notice me behind the bar making myself a drink.
"Shouldn't Lui come back Vanoss?" Nogla asks me.
"Totally. You guys aren't drunk enough. I hand them both some shots. I gave Nogla moonshine though. He needs it. We all take our shots and Nogla starts coughing. Lui and I laugh.
"So Lui, how's your girlfriend?" I ask.
He shakes his head.
"We broke up months ago. We were always at each others throats. I nod my head. Nogla glares at me. "I just haven't found the right person yet." He adds before grabbing a pre-made Bloody Mary. I realize how dark it is and turn on the LED strips by the bar area. Delirious comes out of the water and walks over to me.
"Babe I need a shot of jack." I smile and hand him one he takes it and swallows it then leans int me.
"Cartoonz and Ohm are getting married too." He whispers in my ear.
"What?!" He nods his head. I immediately go inside and grab a mega phone. I come back out and hit the siren button. It catches everyone's attention.
"ATTENTION EVERYONE! TWO OF YOU FUCKERS HAVE BEEN KEEPING A BIG SECRET! APPARENTLY MR. RYAN AND MR. LUKE HAVE BEEN ENGAGED FOR AWHILE AND NEVER TOLD US! SO IN HONOR OF THEM, COME GET YOUR MOTHER FUCKIN SHOTS!!" I yell into the megaphone. Everyone cheers and runs to the bar. Well, some trip on the way *cough cough* Panda! *cough cough*. I hand everyone a shot of tequila.
"TO LOVE AND LIFE!" I scream then down my shot. Everyone repeats that and downs theirs.
"Guys! Time for the ball drop! Get the confetti canons!!" Delirious yells while handing out the canons. We all huddle around the tv and count down.
"10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!" We all shoot off our canons in different directions practically covering my entire patio and pool in confetti. I pull Jonathan to my side and kiss him hard. I take notice of who kisses who.
Delirious and I kiss, obviously.
Cartoonz grabs Ohm.
Marcel kisses Simone.
Brian kisses Lanai, his long term girlfriend.
Tyler takes Craig and smashes his face into his.
Moo kisses his wife Lauren. No surprise there.
But I'm surprised to see Anthony grab Smitty and kiss him.
Then I notice Nogla laugh nervously next to Lui. Lui is just downing a drink. They need to be together. I don't think Lui has a clue.

The party continues after the new year begins with even more drinking. People start passing out around 2 in the morning. It's a clear warm night so I let people sleep outside on the grass and in lawn chairs. It's quieter now. Delirious is laying against the pool edge staring at the stars. I decide to join him. I step into the pool next to him disturbing the confetti that has settled in the water.
"Hey." He says in greeting.
"Hey baby. How ya feeling?" I move in front of him and he leans toward me and kisses me.
"Pretty fucking good." He has a large sloppy smile. He sinks down into the water then quickly pops back up. The water drops slide down his defined chest. He pulls me onto his lap. I rest my knees on the bench that he's sitting on. "You know you're pretty fucking hot." His eyes find mine. My heart begins to race. I lean in and kiss him. He slowly kisses me back. As we kiss I place my hand on his neck and jawline to pull his head back a bit to deepen the kiss. As we make out our kisses become hungry. I push my tongue into his mouth and our tongues battle for a moment. I feel his dick begin to harden beneath me. I pull away, a string of saliva connecting us before I begin kissing and nibbling his neck. He sighs slightly when I hit a certain spot. I suck on that spot and feel his dick twitch beneath me.
"Get a room you two!" I hear Nogla say as he and Lui walk by. Lui just giggles and continues to walk. He's right. There's too many people here. I pull away.
"Come on, lets go inside." I whisper into his ear. He picks me up and starts to walk toward the stairs in the pool. Then we go inside.

Daithi-
I glance back at Delirious taking Evan inside. How the hell is he still walking straight?
"David?" I'm snapped back to reality.
"Yes Lui?"
"You good bro?" I laugh softly.
"I'm doin great." I smile. I want to tell him so bad. I want to tell him how much I want him to be mine. How badly I want to hold him. Honestly I'm jealous of all of them.
"I'll admit It's nice to be with the guys again." He sits down at the far end of the pool.
"What happened with your girlfriend?" I ask him. He sighs and dips his feet in the warm water.
"She cheated on me."
"I'm sorry."
"The thing that made me most upset wasn't even the fact that she cheated on me. It was the fact that I realized I didn't even care. So we ended it. I guess I'm trying to figure out my own mind now."
"I understand that Lui. Ye shouldn't waste time with someone ye don't really love. Do ye ever get lonely watching everyone else be in a couple? I mean, even Anthony and Smitty got together."
"I'll admit I did not see that one coming." He says laughing. I chuckle.
"Me too."
"What about you Nogla? Have you found anyone?" The temptation to tell him so fucking strong, but I can't.
"There's someone I've loved for a long while. Unfortunately I don't think they're interested." Lui sighs loudly.
"I've been in that situation before. I never told this girl and she ended up getting married before I got the balls to tell her. I'm over it now obviously, but it still hurt."
"Lui there's something I have to tell you." He looks me in the eye and raises a brow. I take a deep breath. "I know I've dated girls in the past, but I'm actually gay." He smiles at me.
"David, that's not a problem. There's no shame in that. You fall for who you fall for you can't help that." He side hugs me. "Plus, I would never want you to change who you are. You're perfect the way you are."
I smile and lay my head on his shoulder.
"Tanks Lui. You're the best."
"No problem bud. No problem."
