Chapters 9-13

Chapter 9: Everything Isn't What It Seems
A few months ago; (Marie) I was carrying the supplies back to the car and someone hit me. It was hard to tell, but there were two guys and one girl they were covered in blood and one of the guys had a bite on his shoulder. The girl was freaking out." Why didn't you say you got bit? I can't do this without you." I passed out after. I woke up and we must've been in Pennsylvania. There was a large countryside, but we were in a forest-like area. I woke up with my hands cuffed in plastic,and stuck in the car I looked up and saw that it was the Rogues from New York. I had to get out of here. There's no telling what they'd do to me after the twins died and now that girl's boyfriend is dead because of us. They just started burying him so I had time to get out of these cuffs. I heard some walkers coming our way so I had to make it quick. I used a knife they left in the car, but it cut part of my wrist in the process. I took the knife and got out of the car as quietly as possible. The walkers were getting closer to me I killed one and another pushed me up against the car making the alarm go off. The other two saw me and shot I used the walker as cover to take all the bullets and then ran into the forest to try and lose them. They were right on my trail, but I hid behind the trees to catch my breath, asthma is a bitch. "Come out wherever you are... you're gonna pay for the twins and my Kyle!" said the girl, she had gone completely crazy, and was definitely out for my blood. I threw a rock in the distance to distract them and ran. I ripped off a piece of my shirt and wrapped my wrist to stop the bleeding. I had no idea how to get back it felt like I was going in circles, so I just kept running until I got out the forest and made my way towards a hut and passed out for the night. I had no food and had to find some by morning or I was done for. I woke up early that next morning and was instantly on the move. I got out of the forest and saw that the girl and the man with jet black hair were still on the hunt for me they've been circling the perimeter of the forest and I knew to survive I'd have to kill them. There should be food in the back of the truck so that was my priority. " Hey bitch I'm over here!" I screamed in their direction and they came quickly I ran back towards the forest and waited for them. I had thrown rocks in two separate directions which separated them. I went for the man first since he had more power compared to the girl. He had his guard down and I stabbed him in the back of his head. I took his gun and looked for the girl. My wrist was still bleeding and I really needed to kill that other girl quickly. "Where are you... I will get revenge for all those you killed." I shot her, but it hit her in the leg. This bleeding is really messing my aim. She was limping now though at least and was using the trees as cover. I started to get drowsy from all the blood loss and she kept getting closer. I ran as much as I could evading her shots out the forest and got to the car. She thought I was going for the getaway, but all I cared about was bandaging up before I bled to death. I found one in the backseat, which would do the job for now. I shot her in the chest and went up to her. "Please.. kill me.. I want to be with Kyle." "Fine." And I stabbed her with the knife. I turned around to see walkers headed in my direction there'd be no time to stitch myself up just yet. I ran towards the car killing any nearby walkers and drove wherever the road would take me.
I made it to this community and asked them to help me. There were no stitches and I was still bleeding and needed medical assistance. "Hey can you guys... help me." Some guy came up from behind and hit me in the head with a gun. I woke up stitched up and questioned by some guy who called himself "Alvatroce" he said he wished he could give me food, but they were low. " I'm fine I just need to get back to my friends in New York." " That won't due. As I said, they were running low on food and could use some." He knocked me out and I woke up in what you'd only imagine nightmares to look like. There were corpses missing body parts everywhere, and most had their mouths sealed shut so no one would hear their screams. I found a note saying " Darling you are in charge of cutting these delicious meals up for us. There's a fire place so you can have your own share but know that you are being watched at all times. Any sudden moves to try and out yourself and we will find other ways to torment you that are worse than death. From Alvatroce." I had been force fed human flesh certain nights because I resisted eating so much that after a few weeks they had put me in a bag and said" well save you for last. You should taste great with how much human you've eaten." Then a girl saved me one day. Come to find out she was with my old group who I had forgotten existed. I realized that it seemed like I left them so I took my stuff and left considering they wouldn't want me and there was a herd on the way.
Present Day: I needed to find Anthony and the others just to explain myself. Hopefully they'll forgive me. I had been following them for about a month after what happened after Alvatroce. They all looked pretty happy and I didn't want to destroy that, so keeping my distance might be for the best. I wish I could show them not everything is what it seems if they knew there wouldn't have been a happy ending for me.
(Darius) "Guys it's about time we start going to get food. We're getting low and also need gas to stay on the road." We had driven into West Virginia and made a pit stop at Charleston. "Alright what's the plan? There doesn't seem like there's much left in this place. We should just keep moving and hope for more going south west." Said Danny, " We can't afford to take that risk and if Charleston doesn't work then we'd have enough gas to get around a few more miles. Daevon and Catherine I need you guys to take the gas tank and try to siphon as much as you can get from whatever cars you find. Anthony and Makayla go to local gas stations and markets to look for food. Danny and Darlig you'll come with me to get ammunition and any extra supplies we can get." Everyone was in much higher spirits since Alvatroce luckily Danny was the only one who lost something. He grieved Nick while he helped me grieve Alex and Cassie. They all deserved so much better than what they got. "Everybody meet back at CastleClub before sundown. I want to get as much supplies as possible and keep it moving."
(Makayla) Anthony and I made our way towards the rundown stores that had a few walkers here and there. They looked like they wouldn't have anything for us, but it wouldn't hurt to check. We decided to stay together while being stealthy in the store especially after our past experiences with them. We had found three cans of food and two half full bottles of water. There were some walkers making their way towards our store. "You take those three and I'll take the rest." "Okay." I didn't wanna waste ammo on these so I knee kicked these walkers and stabbed them
in the head and met back up with Anthony. There was some truck driving by and they came to us.There were two old guys and they looked stoned, but who wouldn't be in the apocalypse. "Do you have anything to trade with us we have guns, custom weapons and some drugs to ease the stress of the apocalypse." "We'll take a look at what you got." They had this axe that was too big, but it had spikes in between the two main blades and looked like a Viking era axe. " What do you want for this one?" " You can have that one for two pistols or fifteen bullets for pistols." I had nine bullets on me." Anthony how many do you have?" "Twelve." "Can you give me six melee weapons do me better and I'll give you the rest of the bullets I have later." "Of course babe." " See you two in the next state. That is if you're alive." I wanted to try this axe out the small herd that was nearby so I'd whistle a few and axe away. Anthony went to check for extra food while I was making use of my new toy.
(Daevon)  "Catherine go check our those cars and see if you can get anything out of them." It was nearly impossible to find gas nowadays. People wiped out the supplies within the first few weeks just to end up dying. "I only got about a quarter full from this group." Said Catherine, I wasn't sure if using this truck would be viable anymore at this point. "We can go check the trailer park a few blocks away." "Alright, but we can't go too far I don't wanna get stranded with the walkers when it's just the two of us." We made our way to the trailers to find some survivors. It'd be risky to steal their gas, but we needed it and it's not like full tanks were coming to us for free. There was about eight of them that I saw three guys that were inside one of the trailers, one guy looked like he was giving orders to two of the members because they took one of the cars and left. Then there were the two that looked like they were brothers and ran the groups operations. They must've just went to siphon gas nearby. I saw five gas tanks that could all be full and we needed at least three. "Catherine I need you to go charm up that guy with the leather jacket he seems like one of the leaders. Just say you need help getting around." "Alright I'll just tell him I need food which we do anyways." She went up to him and he seemed happy to help. As soon as I saw him take her inside I went for the gas, and took it back to the alley way we were hiding in. I signaled her to come back.
(Catherine) "I don't need much just enough for me and my sister to get through the day. We're just passing through." "Okay. Just take this bag it'll have enough for you to survive two nights." I felt an ass stealing from these people. They seemed genuinely nice and I knew we had to do what we had to survive, but it didn't make us any better than the people we said were bad." I don't need this much seriously. We're just passing by, but thanks." As I was leaving I heard him come out and follow me."I'll take you to your sister to make sure you get there safely." I needed to come up with a plan and fast I might just have to kill him, but I have to get him away from the group somehow."Fine I take the alley way as a shortcut." We got inside and I kissed him and killed him. "Loves not for everyone." I grabbed a gas tank and Daevon and I ran to CastleClub as quick as possible.
(Darius) "We can go house by house to find any extra supplies people may have left behind." We had found a lot of ammo in the first house and even some food. There was no way this was just "leftovers' ' someone must've been living here. "Guys take what we have and let's get out of here from the back door." Someone had driven up to the house. I saw two guys both walk into the house and we ran for it. One of them was still outside and shot at us,and scraped my arm with a bullet." "We gotta regroup at CastleClub and get out of here." We made it back to the others and explained to them about the guys that would be here soon for us stealing their food. "I hope it's not that group we stole gas from." Said Daevon, I was worried there was more than the two? It turns out there's seven of them and Catherine even took one of them out. "We should take care of the two coming here and leave before the rest of them come after us." Anthony and Makayla just got back and we explained to them what was about to go down. I told them to hide and wait for my signal to kill the guys when they get here. "So you think you can take our stuff and just get away with it?" Said one of the guys, and he had his guns  pointed at me and Darlig. " If you want to take our stuff which of you two if gonna die for it?" I tried to signal Anthony and Makayla but any sudden moves and me and Darlig would be dead. Than a single shot was fired and killed the guy, and it was Marie." You guys miss me?"
