Chapter one

"Hey do you wanna head over to CCPD? Dad said he has some files he wants you to go over, there about some homicide case he's been working." Iris said as a got into her car.

"Yeah sure, iv'e been wanting to go over there, but Miss. Jackson gave a load of homework to us Thursday to end off the year good." I replied

The ride to the station was pretty short considering how close the school is from it. When we got to the station I was handed three files and a small bag with a piece of paper that read "since over the summer you will be here, 305 is your new crime lab"

"Oh my god!!!!! Iris Singh gave me my own lab isn't that awesome?"

"Sarah that's so awesome...congrats, ill be back I have to talk to dad about something." Iris said

"Okay, Ill be in my lab if you need me..." I really like the sound of that I said in my head

__ One hours later__

"Sarah come here!" Joe yelled from in the office

"Okay, i'm coming" I yelled and walked into his office

"Hey Joe, Iris. What's up"?
"So....Dad and I were talking and he said you can go watch the particle accelerator turn on tonight." Iris said smiling
"Omg are you serious, thank you!!" I exclaimed
"On one condition, Iris goes with you," Joe said
"That's totally fine, if that's okay with you?" I asked Iris
"Of course it is, I know how much you want to see this..."
"Thank you again, Joe. Well is it okay if I go get ready and after I come back I continue with the files." I asked Joe
"Yeah that's okay, just call me and I'll pick you up from here." Joe said

__Two Hours Later__

"Hey Iris it's 7:56pm, are you ready?" I asked as I finished putting my hair up
"Yeah let's go!" Iris said

When we got to S.T.A.R Labs I was in shock, it was so much cooler in person...once we got to where we wanted to stand the man himself, Harrison Wells began his speech
"Thank you, my name is Harrison Wells. Tonight the future begins. The work my team and I will do here will change our understandings of physic. It will bring advancements in power, advancement in medicine...Trust me, the future will be faster than you think."

"Sarah help, he took my laptop... It has my dissertation on in!" Iris yelled as the man with her laptop ran

"I'll get it!" I said and ran after it

"Stop!" I yelled
"Listen kid, you don't have to do this alright? Just give me back my friend's bag and we'll call it even. Okay?" I said
"Oww!" I yelled as the mugger hit me with the bag

"Police! Freeze. Or do you want to find out the hard way your not faster than a bullet!" Eddie yelled

When we got back to CCPD Iris came up to me and I knew what she wanted

"Who's that guy, and what's is he so proud of? He only caught a mugger." Iris said with made me giggle

"He's a transfer from Keystone, started a few weeks ago. Eddie Thawne." I simply replied

" Out, that's Detective Pretty Boy." Iris said

"Yeah haha, is that what Joe is calling him?" I asked

"Yeah, dad's not wrong... He is pretty,"
"
Yeah...he is" I laughed

After Iris and I finished talking a turned on the TV to see if tjere was any updates with the Particle Accelerator.
