She's Special

Chapter Three

*Skyler's POV*

"Okay so I just called Joe, he said that Mardon is at an old farm just south of Central City." I said over Cisco's shoulder. "Okay, I hacked into the camera's on the farm and Mardon is... making a tornado?" Cisco said in disbelief. 

"Its ranked  category 4 right now, Allen you need to get out there!" Doctor Wells yelled  and I left.

"Okay guys, I'm here... What do I do?" I asked impatiently  

"What if you unravel the tornado?" Caitlin asked. 

"Run in the opposite  direction yes, that's a great idea, but how fast would I have to go?" 

"As fast as you can, now run!" Cisco yelled 

As I ran up the tornado, Mardon started to get stronger, but I wasn't moving fast enough, which caused me to fall. 

"Guys he's too powerful, I can't do this." I said in defeat 

"Yes you can!" I heard Dr. Wells say, "You were right. I created this madness. But you can stop it. You are more than your speed. You can do this, now run Skyler, run!!!" Wells said giving me the boost to run. Dr. Well's speech made me feel like I would walk on water, like I could do anything. 

"Hey, the suits holding up!" Cisco said

"But he's not!" Caitlin yelled at Cisco 

"Trust me, she can do-." Cisco paused as the coms fell silent 

"Skyler!" Dr. Wells yelled 

"Skyler are you okay!" Caitlin asked

"Its over, we won." I said through the coms. 

"I didn't know there was anyone out here like me." mardon said to me. 

"Trust me, I am nothing like you." I replied right before mardon be pulled out a gun on me.

"Not anymore."Mardon said before being shot by Joe  behind me. "Who are you?" Joe said

"You can call me the "Flash", detective." I smiled and ran back to S.T.A.R Labs. When I got back I fell as soon as I got into the med bay. 

"Skyler!" Dr. Wells yelled as Caitlin and Cisco came over to help me up. 

"Guys I'm okay." I smiled

"Skyler, you have metal in your arm, we have to get that out." Caitlin said helping  me onto the table. 

"Okay, this is going to hurt...bad." Caitlin said grabbing a pair of medical tweezers.

"Here bite onto this," Cisco said putting a piece of cloth in my mouth. 

"Three, two One!" Caitlin said as she pulled on the piece of metal in my arm 

"Ahhhh," I screamed as she removed the piece of metal from my arm, I blacked out. 

*An hour later*

"What happened?" I asked as I sat up to see Dr. Wells sitting beside the bed I was laying in. 

"After Caitlin patched you up, you blacked out." He said as he looked at my arm. 

"The patch looks like its bleeding still, do you think Caitlin can stitch it back up?" I asked looking up at him, his face got red 

"Caitlin and Cisco went home early." Dr. Wells said looking down

"Can you stitch my arm," I asked causing him to look up 

"If its okay with you, yeah sure. I have a medical licence, so I think I should be good." He said making me laugh 

As Dr. Wells stood up to get the medical supplies she couldn't take her eyes off him. There was something about him that she was so fascinated with, it might just be a crush, but she can't help but think he feels the same way. 

"Okay, can I see your arm?" he asked as she put her arm on the table. 

"Let's talk about something to get your mind off of this." he said, causing me to smile 

"Okay, like what." I asked 

"I don't know, Flash" he smiled ... "What made you want to be in the police force... Even if its just volunteer work?" he asked, making me blush. 

"You..." I said making him blush 

"Why me? What makes me the reason?" he asked 

"Since I was a kid, I always wanted to help people... like you, so I kept in my mind.. If Dr. Harrison Wells can do it... so can I." I said laughing

"So I had an impact on you?" he asked 

"You have know idea." 

"What?" 

"Yeah, you have had an impact on me." I said, as my voice started shaking. 

"Huh, at least my work didn't go to waste... Okay and finished." he said as he finished my arm. 

"With your speed healing, you should only need the stitches for an hour." He said smiling 

"Thank yo-, ah." I yelled as I lost my balance while getting off the table, landing on top of...Dr. Wells.

 "Oh my god, I am so sorry!" I said staring at him, making him laugh. Just realizing i'm on top him. I started to blush so bad, making me look away. 

" Well this is awkward.." Doctor Wells said coughing and blushing.

I slowly got up from on top of him making him blush more. I grabbed his hand helping him to the table where we both sat. 

"Doctor Wells, I am really sorry..." I said feeling so stupid 

"Hey, its okay... you lost your balance. I'm just glad your okay, but for the record; you can call me Harry when we're alone..." 

"Okay, Harry." I laughed 

"Well I'm going to head home if that's alright with you?" I asked Harry 

"Yeah, that's no problem. Do you need a ride home?" 

"No, I can walk... But thanks." 

"Please, you just fell, and its dark out. Let me drive you so I know your safe." 

"Okay, thank you." I smiled at him while grabbing my jacket 

As we left the lab, we walked to a Ram 1500 pickup truck. It was really nice.

"You like." He asked 

"Its awesome, its like the one Iris has." 

We got in the car an talked about random stuff from science to things we do in our free time. 

"So what type of cars do you like?" Harrison asked 

"I really like motorcycles." I said smiling 

"You like motorcycles too! I have a red and black 2018 Honda, when my knee is healed, Ill show you sometime." he smiled

 "That would be nice." I smile, realizing we were down the street from Joe's. 

"Well it was nice hanging out with you , Skyler. Would you be okay with coming down to the Lab tomorrow so the team and I can run some test?" 

"Yeah that's fine, 9am?" I asked 

"That's prefect, have a good night Skyler." 

"You too, Harry." I smiled making him grin as he pulled away. 

Today was eventful... Wonder how tomorrow will go?
