The after math of the cursed night is not a pretty one. For starters, the library needs to be cleaned up heavily, along with the main hall and fixing of many cracks and doors. The students are given the week off to recuperate, tend to any wounds and help out where they can.
On top of that there's bad press on the school. The king was quite furious that his son was in the mess and threatened to close down the school. (The threat will dropped at the end of week if you Roleplay that far ahead). Most students are unaware the prince is in their midst and aside from the recent events, that's the top talk of the school with many rumors floating about of who it might be.
The reason the threat gets dropped is because the school brings in an oracle and finds the reasoning for the night. The land had in the past been cursed, specifically for an owner long ago. That owner died and the curse simply faded away. However, due to the abundance of curse energy it was revived. The oracle has dispersed of the curse and all is well.
