Chapter 2

Mikasa POV

"Wahhhhhh" I woke up to see Eren crying. I quickly sat up and put Eren on my nap. "What's wrong Eren? Did you have a nightmare?" He nodded and hugged me tightly. "Its okay Eren I'm still here." He was still crying so I layed down and placed him on top of me where he was still hugging me. I looked over to the window and saw it was night. Probably 2 in the morning. I soon heard Eren soft snore then I felt my eyelids getting heavy. And I quickly fell back asleep.
-6 hour time skip-

I opened my eyes and was introduced to see Eren staring at me." Goodmorning Eren." He smiled and hugged me. He really liked hugs. I stood up and changed to my uniform but I peaked at him to see him starting outside the window. His eyes were wide amazed by the outside. I then wrapped my scarf around my neck and picked up Eren. "You wanna go outside?" He nodded and wrapped him arms around my neck and put his head on my shoulder.

I walked to the cafeteria for breakfast and saw everyone eating then found my friends all together in one table I walked over to them and Sahsa greeted me. "Hey Mikasa." I heard Sahsa say. "Oh hey." Connie said while yawning." Hello." I replied but Sasha looked at Eren I was carrying and he looked back at them. Connie also saw Eren." Mikasa who's the baby?" Armin then snapped his finger." Oh yeah Sasha and Connie I forgot to mention that baby is Eren."

I think this was the first time that I seen Sasha stop eating and focused her attention off the food to something else." WHAT!" Connie stood up and walked towards Eren. I hugged Eren a bit tighter. "Eren if you can understand me give me a high five." Connie raised his hand and Eren did too but then slapped Connie in the middle of the face." OW!" He walked backwards with his hand in the face while Eren was laughing. "Eren that wasn't very nice." I scolded him but regretted it since he began to tear up." O-oh um Eren." Armin then took him away from me and places him on the table then made funny faces that managed to get Eren to stop crying and began to laugh.

I stood there watching Armin, Sasha, Connie, Reiner, Christa and Eren having fun. Jean then walked up to me like last time. "So Mikasa mind if me and you talk privately?" I was unsure but nodded. Me and him walked out to the storage room where he fell on his knees." MIKASA PLEASE CAN ME AND YOU GO OUT!?" He looked down while crying strangely. I was not surprised but wanted to play with him since well something interesting happened when we were assigned as spar partners and he seems to think that I forgot about it.
- flashback -

I was with Jean sparing while Eren was with Reiner. "Hey Mikasa focus on me and not on Eren." I looked back at Jean trying his best to look confident and cool but failing tremendously. "Ok." "Ok Mikasa 3..2...1...GO!" We rushed eachother and I was gonna end quickly since I knew he was no match to me so I decided to just fight him not using all my strengths. But I wanted to break his back since he manged to get behind me and he thought he was slick and decided to squeeze my ass. I immediately turned then punch him in the face knocking him out. While everyone saw me knock him out.
- end of flashback -

"Will you Mikasa?" I sighed and thought of a plan that'll most likely work. "Jean I will on one term." He looked up and nodded." Yeah what is it?" I smiled inside." If you take Eren outside and managed to get him to be comfortable with you I will." He nodded quickly." And not that if I see any mark on him you better hide from me." He gulped and nodded once again." I wont let you down."

I smiled inside since I knew Eren hated Jean so if hes a baby he'll still hate him. I walked passed him back to the cafeteria to hear Eren cries. I immediately rushed over and saw Ymir holding him by his feet meaning that he was dangling." So your telling me that this is Eren?" Everyone was screaming at her to put Eren down but she didnt listen." Pffff or what?" Guess she didnt hear me run behind her since Connie pointed behind her." O-or she'll do something..." Ymir looked back and saw me then just dropped Eren who fell on his back and cried louder.

I punched her stomach making her fall down and groan in pain and I ran to Eren, picked him up and hugged him closely while trying to comfort him." I'm going outside." And I left the cafeteria while Eren was still crying with his head on my shoulder.

We made it outside and I walked towards the tree where I calm down if I get mad. Eren was still crying so when I reached the tree I sat down and placed him on my lap and hugged him. "Eren it's okay its okay." I then saw steam come out his back through his shirt while I hugging him. Guess he still has his healing factor. Pretty quickly his back seemed fixed since he stopped hugging me and got off my lap and ran around the tree. He forgot all about the pain huh. I closed my eyes to relax. Taking care of Eren when hes a baby is exhausting. 5 minutes probably passed since I didnt feel like he was around me anymore so when I opened my eyes I saw Eren...nowhere. 

"Eren!" I stood up and looked around for a better view around me and couldn't see him. "EREN!" I began to hyperventilate and felt like I was gonna pass out. Where did you go?
Armin POV

I was walking while reading a book before I hear crying nearby. Who's that?"  I walked to where the crying is heard and it was in a old room and saw a little figure on the floor. "Eren?" He stood up and looked at me with tears in his eyes then ran to me and hugged my leg. I dropped my book on the floor then picked him up to see him with tears in his eyes. "Eren did you get lost?" He nodded and wrapped his arms around my neck."Let's go find Mikasa."

I was walking around with Eren who stopped crying but instead was whimpering. Is this really how Eren was as a baby? I walked around for a bit before I saw Christa talking with Ymir in the hallway. "Hey Christa!" She looked over and saw me with Eren. "Oh hey Armin and hi there cutie pie." She said looking at Eren who was smiled at her. "Christa can you take care of Eren for a bit I need to find Mikasa." She nodded and I passed her Eren who was smiling. "Alright I will Armin you can go look for her." I nodded and walked away. Mikasa where are you?

It's been 5 minutes before I saw her running in the hall with her back facing me." MIKASA!" She turned and ran full speed at me then she reached me." ARMIN WHERE IS EREN!?" I chuckled a bit but she didnt like that." What's so funny?" I gulped." Oh it's that...I found him and gave him to Christa so I can find you." She grabbed my shoulder and began to shake me." WHERE IS CHRISTA!" "Shes at the hallway near the conference room." She instantly let me go and ran to the way to the conference room.
Mikasa POV

I ran straight to the hallway where the conference room is and turned the corner and saw Christa having fun with Eren by sitting on the floor with him playing peek a boo. "EREN!" He looked at me stood up and ran quickly toward me and hugged my leg. "M..m." I looked wide eyes and picked him up. "Are you trying to say my name?" I saw Christa looked at us wide eyes." I think he is." He then tried again. "Mmm..mm." I tried to help him by saying my name." Mikasa its Mikasa." But he then smiled and wrapped his arms around my neck. I was sad he didnt say it but happy he was safe. "Dont you do that again you scared me." He began to giggle while I was recovering from my panic attack." Hey Mikasa!" I turned around and saw Jean walking to me.

I dont want to deal with this. "So um I want to say how about I take care of him for the rest of this day?" I felt Eren hug me tighter. "Uh..Eren?" Eren looked at me and smiled sweetly. Eren what are you doing? "So what do you think Mikasa?" I looked back at Jean who was scratching the back of his head. "Sure but remember our deal." He nodded and I manged to get Eren off of me and gave him to Jean who carried him. "Uh hey Eren." Jean was nervous while Eren was looking back at me sad." I'm sorry Eren but look I'll be back for you in a few hours okay." He nodded and looked at Jean with angry eyes. This is not gonna go well.
