Chapter 3

Jean POV

"WAHHHHH!" Eren was on my bed and couldnt stop crying after I had him for 1 hour." Eren please be quiet!" I yelled at him making him cry even louder." Damn..um..um." I had an idea so i picked him up smiled at him hoping he'll know I'm friendly." Relax please." There was a pause before he continued crying. I put him back on my bed where he layed flat on his stomach and still cried, then there was a knock on my door. Please dont be Mikasa. I opened the door and when I did someone pushed me out the way with so much force I hit the wall." Aw damn ouch my back." I was on the floor and the next thing i hear is..giggling? I looked up at  Eren..oh no. Mikasa had Erens in her arms, Eren calmed down and was giggling while grabbing the scarf Mikasa had on. But the worst thing is that she was glaring at me with some much hate in it and rage. Her glare could kill someone if it could. She walked up to me with Eren still in her arms and in one blink all I saw was darkness.
Mikasa POV

I kicked Jean in his face making him unconscious, when I did Eren laughed at him. I smiled to myself before leaving Jean's room. I knew it would never work. I was walking back to my room with Eren before I saw Levi walking towards me.  Please dont ask about Eren. When we passed eachother he stopped and looked at Eren. What are you going to do? "Tck he needs a bath." He said before walking away. I looked at Eren who was trembling and had tears in his eyes. Guess hes still afraid of Levi. I hugged him calming him down a bit but I did smell something off. Pretty quickly I realised that Levi was right Eren did need a bath.

"Eren your gonna get a bath." He nodded which surprised me since when we were kids he hated baths. Wait..Mikasa your gonna give Eren a bath. I realised what I have to do and it would feel awkward if i gave him a bath. "Uh I cant help him uh.. who can help...Armin?" But I remembered he had to help Erwin with plans." What abou--"

"Hey Mikasa." I turned around seeing Sasha eating a piece of bread." Hi Sasha... wait I was wondering can you do me a favor?" She tilted her head confused." Sure what do you need?" I took a deep breath." Can you give Eren a bath for me?" She stopped eating her bread and looked at Eren." You want me to give..him a bath?" I nodded, she continued to look at Eren who seem scared." So ar--" She grabbed Eren and hugged him making him smile and laugh." Of course I would I don't mind with this pweety baby here." She said the last part in a baby voice." Thanks Sasha." She looked at me and smiled before taking Eren with her to the bathing room area leaving me alone.

I walked to my dorm, entered it and layed on my bed. As much as I love it I hate how I'm taking advantage of this situation. I'm getting closer to him when hes only a baby, I wanted to get closer to him when hes still my age. I got lost in my thoughts since I'm certain 15 minutes have passed of me thinking to myself. There was 2 knocks on my door." Come in." The door opened to show Eren in Sasha's arm wearing clothes his size. He also looked really happy." Hey Mikasa I'm here to give Eren back he was easy to bathe surprisingly." Sahsa then put Eren on the floor where he ran to me or should I saw waddled to me and tried to get up on the bed. So I sat up and picked him up and placed him on my lap." Thanks Sasha now Eren wave bye to Sasha."

Eren looked at Sasha, put up his little arm and waved with a smile on his face." Awww well bye Eren I'll miss you and bye Mikasa." Sasha said in a happy tone before leaving." Blbbbb." I looked down at Eren who was nibbling on my hand which was adorable." Aww is someone hungry." I said." Blbbb." He continued on nibbling my finger. I'll take that as a yes. I lifted him up and cradled him in my arms and walked out my room towards the cafeteria. When I made it to the cafeteria it was surprisingly less people then usual but I didnt mind it. I walked towards the kitchen area to find some apple sauce for Eren. I entered the kitchen and placed Eren on a counter near me and looked for apple sauce,when I found some in a box I grabbed a spoon and turned to see Eren..GONE!

I dropped the Apple sauce and spoon and ran out the kitchen only to see him waddling around the Cafeteria. My heart rate relaxed and my fear went away. I grabbed the apple sauce and spoon then walked to Eren who was getting on a table." Eren I got your food and dont do that again you scared me." He just looked at me with those big eyes." Eren?" He looked at the apple sauce and spoon, grabbed the spoon and opened the apple sauce then began to feed himself. "Eren?" He continued on feeding himself till he finished." Eren what's wrong?" He looked at me and put out his arms to get lifted. I lifted him up and took the apple sauce container and threw it out. I was walking to my dorm, Eren didnt do anything at all, not even smiling to me which worried me a lot.

When I made it to my room and placed him on my bed he sat there looking at me." Eren your getting me worried what's going on?" He lifted his arms up wanting to be lifted up so I grabbed him and put him over my shoulder. I could hear his soft breathing. Eren what's going on? Then I felt lips on my cheek? I looked at Eren..who kissed my cheek and was smiling. No way did he? " Di..did you..ki..kiss my cheek?" He just smiled at me, I felt heat rise to my cheeks. He then kissed my cheeks again and again. When he stopped his smile was so large, I was blushing hard." W..was th..this the reason y..you were quiet." He nodded and placed his head on my shoulder and yawned.

I layed him on my bed where immediately he fell asleep. I didnt feel tired at all after what just happened. I put a blanket over him and watched him sleep peacefully. I..I..um..im hungry. I carefully exited my room without making to much noise so I dont wake up Eren. I walked to the cafeteria, when I made it to the cafeteria I saw Hanji and Armin talking. I walked over to them and pretty quickly Armin saw me." Hey Mikasa!" Hanji saw me when she turned and she rushed over to me smiling." HI MIKASA HOWS EREN?!" The few people who were in the cafeteria eating looked at us confused." Hehe sorry Mikasa but how is the baby?" I felt heat rise to my cheeks again." He..hes fine." Armin looked at me with a 'what happened face?' face. So did Hanji but she was smiling." Wait did you do something?" I physically felt weak." I..no..its that...nothing forget it." Hanji opened her mouth to speak before I heard Erens cries. Protect Eren.

All of a sudden my muscles tensed up and adrenaline hit me. I turned around and ran towards my room, when I was close I heard a voice." Um what do I do Christa?" Ymir and Christa?" I dont know but let's go please." I made it to my room and saw Eren looking at Ymir with eyes full of tears while Ymir was trying to make funny faces. Christa looked scared, I walked past her hearing her gasp a bit." Cmon dont cry or Mikasa will.." I put a hand on Ymir shoulder and I could feel the fear when I touched her." Dont go near Eren." She backed up with her hands up and i saw Eren looking at me and he raises his arms wanting to be lifted.

I lifted him up and cradled him while I glared at Ymir and Christa." What were you both doing?" Ymir was shaking probably of fear, while Christa sighed." Ymir wanted to talk to you and apologize about yesterday but you weren't here but he was so she thought that if she apologized to him we'll be fine...but she scared him by tripping." Ymir rolled her eyes and put her arms down." Yeah shes right..look I'm sorry about yesterday..you know me holding Eren in a bad way." Eren released one arm off my neck and reached towards Ymir." Uh..what do I do Mikasa?" Ymir said nervously, Christa smiled." Ymir put your hand near him." Christa said, Ymir put out her hand and when she did Eren grabbed it and smiled before laughing." See now he forgives you Ymir." Christa said, Eren let go of Ymirs finger and yawned. Christa then walked over to us and looked at Eren." Aw is the wittle boy tired?"

Eren giggled for a bit before yawning again." Yeah he is so I'll take him to bed." I said while taking him to my bed and laying him down." Alright well we're going goodnight Mikasa and Eren." Ymir said before grabbing Christa's hand." I'm coming Ymir goodnight you two." They both left and closed the door. I looked at Eren who was asleep peacefully and I smiled to myself. I took off my uniform and put on my nightgown and folded my Scarf and placing it on a chair nearby. I layed down on my bed, picked up Eren carefully and placed him on my chest. I grabbed the blanket and put it up to us. I could hear his soft breathing. "Goodnight Eren...sweet dreams." I hugged him and closed my eyes letting the dreamworld come in.
Jean POV

Ow my head...huh where am I? I opened my eyes looked around before realizing I was in the infirmary, beside me was Connie sleeping." Huh..wait now I remember." I remembered getting kicked by Mikasa after she took Eren. Even with him as a baby me and him still dont get along.
