PLEASE READ!!!

This story needs major editing!!! Because I wrote this like six to five months ago. And realize that I go back and forth between past and present tense! I need to fix it. I didn't even realize it until someone pointed it out in one of my other stories! And then I was like crap aha. So if you read it please bare with me. If you read my latest post you can see that i don't do that anymore. So I need to do some editing. Which won't be done for awhile until I finish my AP english homework that was given over the summer aha. Yeah I got lame homework for the summer. And I realize that I don't add the thoughts of the character like I do now and that needs to be fixed too aha.

Prologue

''I can't believe you didn't tell me.'' He screams at me. Oh no, I didn't know he would react this badly. ''We're over Alyssa.'' What?! I thought he loved me. He turns away from me and starts to run. He can't just leave; I start to run after him. We need to talk, ''leave me alone Alyssa!'' He yells over his shoulder. He starts to disappear, my feet feel like bricks. I saw his black leather jacket disappear into a forest. Why is he running through the forest? I bolt after him. Branches kept scraping my arms and legs. I stumble trying to get my footing.

I couldn't see him; the trees are surrounding me and felt like they keep getting closer. The sky grew darker and I feel like I was being suffocated by the trees.

Chapter 1

''Order of fries and a Joe burger for table 2.'' I announce to Chef Dan. Today is a busy day; I wish it would just end. I clip the order on the wheel, and spin it to where he can see it. He comes over to it gives it a quick glance and then gives his attention back to the grill. How can he stand being in that kitchen it's flippin hot today. I know it's ninety degrees outside and the sweat on his forehead proves he is not having a grand time in the there. I walk to my station, to a table that just become occupied by a middle-age couple. ''Hi my name is Alyssa I will be your waiter today, can I get you something to drink while you take a chance to look over the menu?'' I ask them. They look like a nice couple.

''I will have a cherry coke.'' the lady says. She has bleach blonde hair she had brown eyes and a small build. She looks at the man waiting for him to answer. Her eyes only show love for him. I glance at their hands and spot them both wearing a wedding band. Well they seem to be having a stable wedding. I can only hope when I get married that I only have to get married once. Divorces look like a burden to handle.

''I will have a corona.'' the man answers he had salt and pepper hair, he also share the same color eyes as his wife, and he was on the skinny side. He didn't look very muscular from where I'm standing. His hair didn't make him look old it gave him a kind of handsome edge with it. I wrote the drinks down on my pad.

''Okay I'll be back in a minute to get your orders.'' I walk away, as they begin to have a conversation.
