I sat in silence while Houston drove me home. "Are you still mad?" he asked. Slightly but not really. I sighed before answering.

"No," I replied. I leaned my head back and glanced at him he was smiling. Goof ball I laughed to myself and turned the other direction. Watching the world pass me in a blur.

"Um Alyssa where do you live?" he questioned. Hmmm should I tell him my exact location or somewhere a couple streets down. I thought about it for a little. "Did you fall asleep?" I started to laugh. "Well I'll take that as a no."

"No I'm sleeping," I closed my eyes.

"Haha very funny, so where do you live?" he requestioned.

"Um Larson street 3218," I finally replied.

"I know where that is," he chimed. Well good to know. I closed my eyes relaxing a bit. I hope I don't get in trouble for coming home so late. I'll just blame Houston, then again mom will just bug me wanting to know all the goods on him. I'll just say I where busy and helped stay to clean. "I hope you don't get in to much trouble for coming home this late......or um early," he laughed. True it was morning.

"Nah she won't be that mad, I called saying I was working late," I sighed. "She's probably sleeping," Or watching Markly I silently said. I mentally cursed he probably woke her up.

"Oh okay," we went into an awarkward silence. We finally made it and he parked infront of my house. He turned off the ignition and turned to face me. "I had a great time, and was wondering if we could um do it again sometime, soon."

"I don't know I'm always busy," he looked down in disappointment. "But I guess I can make room for you," I gave a hearted smile. The next thing he did was unexpected and leaned forward and kissed me. I responded by pulling him closer. I opened my mouth to breathe but he took that as an invitation into my mouth. His tongue played with mine for bit. Before I ended the kiss by pulling back giving a bewildered look. He only smirked at me. We both where breathing slightly heavy.

"Can I have your number," he asked.

"Okay," I smiled. After I gave it to him and he surprised me with another kiss on the cheek. "Bye," I open the door and before I shut it.

He said, "see ya soon." I closed the door and he waited until I got into my house. When I got in I ran to the window watching his car disappear in the distance. I sighed and pulled my eyes away from the window and walked pass the dark living room. I made it towards my room and when I entered I automatically went to the crib. Finding it empty, I started to breathe hard and ran frantically out of the room. I rushed into my mom's room. I went to wake her but stopped finding her asleep with Markly laying next her. I sighed in relief, don't get yourself all worked up Alyssa.

I silently grabbed Markly, he looked so peaceful. I took great care not to disturb him as I made it back to my room. Gently laying him down in his crib. I smiled and crept to my bed taking the nap I longed for. I let the darkness take its hold on me as I drifted off to sleep.

I heard from Houston, not receiving not one text. But I didn't worry over it Markly kept me busy and my job. It was sunday and no school monday. Wooooo! I laid on the ground watching Markly play with his rattle. Well at least try he kept dropping it, everytime he would barely lift it off the ground and then drop it.
