Im 26 people tell me
"When will you get married?"
And I'm speechless.
A question I can't answer.
Everyone is asking me
If I'm in a relationship.
And they are shocked with my answer.
Well it's not a sin not to have one.
Everyone is telling me,
"Get married and have kids
Don't wait till I'm 30 to bear a child"
Well I don't mind having kids at 40.
This world is full of infidelity,
I see a lot of couple breaking up.
I just don't want to be like them.
I'm waiting for the one that God gave me.
I will marry,
when I'm ready.
Cause marriage is not as easy,
as learning your ABC
I will marry,
when I'm ready.
Not cause you tell me so.
Not cause you want me to.
It's my life
And I'm not in a hurry.
I'm taking my time
To know myself more.
So when "the one" came,
I will be best version of me.
