Tom had us in a meeting for nearly two hours. I was trying to listen, but today had just been too much. I needed to go talk to Red and explain what happened at the park, and I needed to call Dean.
"Every time the media gets a look at him they come to me, and I'm running out of lies." Tom said. " I thought you liked being on television?" Broom said. "I do, so, how many escapes this year alone?" Tom asked annoyed. "Five!" He yelled. "Tom he's our guest, not a prisoner." Broom said. "Ya well your guest happens to be six foot five, bright red, has a tail, and government funded."
We ended up having our meeting at the museum. Abe had to examine the different artifacts that had been broken.
"I know where to find him, I'll get him back." I said, breaking up the fight between Broom and Tom. We walked into the main artifact room. "Hey fish stick, don't touch anything." Tom yelled. "I need to touch it, to see." "See what?" "Past, future, whatever this object holds. Don't worry about finger prints, never had any." Abe gasped. "They were here!" Professor Broom slowly walked towards Abe.
"Who was here?" Manning asked, "Nixon? Houdini? Jimmy Hoffa? Who?" "Show me Abe." I heard Broom whisper.
This meeting seemed to be over , and I wanted to leave as soon as possible. I walked over to John, "Hey, lets get out of here, they don't need us anymore." We hopped in a car and rode back to the Bureau.
"What's on your mind?" John asked in response to my silence in the car ride home. "I just... today... I met someone from my past who I hadn't seen in a very long time and... I can't... I just... I need some rest. It's been a long day and I'm exhausted."
I spent the rest of the car ride in silence and waited to get back to my new home.

I knocked on Red's door after standing there for five minutes thinking about what to say. I didn't hear a reply, only a loud bang. I took that as a yes and slowly opened the door. "Red?" I asked.
I saw him sitting on his bed with a dumbbell dented into the floor. He looked up at me. "Are you done making out with your boyfriend?" "He's not my boyfriend." "I guess you came to explain?" I nodded. "You have to understand that I haven't seen him in almost ten years."
"So that makes it alright?" "Will you just listen to me! It's not like I cheated on you or anything, we were never together." "But I had feelings for you, you don't understand how hard that is for me to say." Red yelled. "Just listen, please." I said taking his hand. I could tell he saw how tired I was when he looked at me.
"Where do I start, ok, well after high school I went off to Stanford. There, I met a really great guy. His name was Sam. A few months into the year his girlfriend was murdered by a demon. Sam's brother Dean came into town and we kind of had a... spark. Anyway, we all kind of went on the road together, saving people, hunting things, it was kind of their family business."
"What do you mean hunting things?" He asked. "Oh, ya know, ghosts, demons, wendigos, shape shifters, vampires, werewolves, dragons, witches, sirens, amazons, leviathan, reapers, fairies."
"Dragons?" "Well, that was kind of a one time thing, they don't really pop up that often."
"You're joking right, you've killed all those things."
"Yes, anyway, things got pretty bad, we got in a really bad car crash and Dean almost died. His dad sold his soul to save him. Then Sam died and Dean went to Hell ,we opened a gate to hell, stopped the apocalypse, ugh and then the whole purgatory thing."
"Purgatory thing?" "Oh well Crowley, the King of Hell, and Castiel, our angel friend sort of accidentally let all of the leviathan from purgatory loose on earth."
"King of Hell? Like Satan, and Angels?"
"Ya, I figured you knew all these things were real. And no, not like Lucifer, he's trapped in a cage in hell with the archangel Michael. Crowley took over the reigns after that. Anyway, things started getting pretty bad and Castiel, the angel..." I sighed. "He, uh, told Sam and Dean that I had been killed by a leviathan and he whipped my memory and brought he back her to New York. Yesterday when I saw them in the park Cas said that it... cracked the wall in my mind and I was able to remember them. Cas removed the wall from my mind and I was able to remember everything."
"You shot Samiel so well today, I knew something was different about you."
"I used to be pretty good." I laughed.
"You and that Dean kid must have been pretty close." He asked innocently."I guess that's just kind of standard when you live so closely with someone for so long. We went to hell and back for each other. He died, then came back, went to Hell, and then came back, then he went to purgatory, and then came back. We've been through a lot. I've died a few times myself."
"How does that usually work out?"
"Usually we go to hell, someone sells their soul or an angel brings us back. It's pretty standard for us I guess."
He smiled at me and I smiled back. I knew he was still upset but he seemed a little better. I inched my face closer to him, hoping for our lips to meet.
My phone buzzed and I looked to see who it was feeling aggravated at its timing. The screen said '666' "Oh god."
"Literally?" Red asked laughing. "Not even close." I said seriously. I answered the call.
(Italics/Bold- Adelaide, Normal- Crowley)
Crowley, to what do I owe the pleasure?
Hello love, miss me?
Not as much as you missed me.
A little birdy told me you were back in action.
What do you want from me Crowley?
Just a chat, that's all love.
Crowley, I'm out, I'd like to stay out.
That's no way for a hunter to be talking, you know you were always my favorite. The one with the most... spunk.
Crowley, if you don't remember you murdered my fiancé.
Oh, honey that was all business.
Business! Murdering an innocent man is business.
Darling, I had a contract to uphold. I get a soul and its my job to kill Paul Manning. Listen, I need you to come to The Rock Bottom Hotel in 10 minutes if you ever want to see your precious little squirrel again.
No...
I guess I'll be seeing you soon.

The call was cut off. I grabbed Red's hand and tried to pull him out of his room. "Come on, we need to go!"
"Woah, woah, these are your friends not mine. You can handle this on your own."
"You've got to be kidding me. I need you! It's been almost 10 years since I've been in this thing. I don't know how deep this has gotten."
"I'm not going to help you save your little boyfriend."
"He's not my boyfriend! Fine, I'll get Meyers to come with me! I don't think that you understand that the KING of HELL just called me, ok never mind, goodbye. This could very well be the last time you see me so..."
I grabbed the gun off a shelf as I was leaving and loaded it. He grabbed the gun out of my hand. "I'm coming with you." He said sternly.
Works every time. I thought, smirking.
