Ariana woke up in the morning feeling at ease. She knew that today was going to be a wonderful day and no one could change that. The smell of strawberry waffles filled her nose, causing her to jolt out of bed. Everyone in her family knows that shes obsessed with, strawberry waffles. Its her grandmothers recipe.

She gets out of bed and begins walking downstairs. The smell becomes more evident to her senses. Her family is sitting at the table, laughing and conversing with each other. A smile appears on Ariana's face at the sight of her beautiful family. She enjoyed seeing them this jubilant.

"Ari!" Frankie shouts. She walks over to him and takes a seat next to her brother.

"Good morning guys." she finally says, her face is full of tranquility.

They give her a big "good morning" greeting. Ariana scans everyones faces at the table and becomes confused once she meets an unfamiliar face. She nudges Frankie at the side and he looks at her.

"Who's that?" she whispers.

"Oh thats Gregory, I hear hes supposed to be your new tutor. Hes a cutie, right?" Frankie whispers back with a lustful tone in his voice, causing Ariana to chuckle.

She looked at him and her chuckling stopped when Gregory flashed at small smile at her. No guy has ever smiled at Ariana before and this one caught her off guard. That was an inaccurate statement, the only men who did look at her were the creepy old men outside and the ones she didnt like. She didnt know what to do and is not used to an attractive man smiling at her. But why make a big fuss about a small smile?

Ariana finally smiled back and looked down at her plate. She began to eat the strawberry waffles that grew cold due to her contemplation. When she looks up, Gregory is still looking at her. His smile is bright and wide just like his crystal blue eyes. His lips are plump and pink. They shine from the orange juice he just took a sip of.

"Oh Ari, this here is Gregory. Hes a student at the university I was telling you about. Im going to pay him to be your tutor for the summer." Ariana's mother finally speaks.

A feel of uneasiness flashes through Ariana's mind. She would no longer be able to sneak around with Colleen and practice her singing. Gregory would practically become a monitor to Ariana for her mother.

"Oh." Ariana says. She looks towards Gregory, his smile is faded.

"Yes, I was thinking maybe you two can go bowling tonight. Just so you will be comfortable with each other."

"That would be lovely, Mrs.Grande." Gregory speaks with a heavy british accent.

"Oh, you can call me Joan." her mother replies, red begins to grow on her face.

"Alright, Joan, breakfast was amazing, but I must get going. I'll pick up Ariana at 7 and we can go .. bowling. Have a good day everyone."

Gregory stands up from him seat and bows his head in appreciation. He pushes the chair into the dining room table and exits the room.

"Why is she doing this? I dont need a tutor. Im doing .. exceptionally well in those stupid college courses she has me taking. I just need a break from all of this so I can pay attention to what I actually want to do. Which is singing. Singing is the only thing that keeps me motivated for success, but my mom is now taking that away from me completely. Why? Why does it have to be me?"

Ariana sits down harshly. Zayn stares at her in trepidation. Not knowing what to say, he moves closer to her and throws his arm around her shoulder. She sprints off of Zayns bed quickly and begins walking around rapidly in his room. He puts his arm down and looks down at his feet sheepishly.
