Previously...

Yongguk scrunched an eyebrow, "What's the youngest you'll date?" Minnie simply shrugged as she grabbed a comb from the coutner, "Two months." Zelo bit his lip as he tried to hide the pain being expressed on his face. From the couch, Youngjae tilted his head as he noticed something was wrong.

"Just---just go get some fresh air," Zelo thought to himself as he spun around on his heel, but stopped as Minnie greeted him, "Zelo! You're here!" Closing his eyes for a few seconds, Zelo turned around to face her again as he forced a smile onto his face, "Hey Minnie noona." She smiled the same angelic smile that won Zelo's heart over as she gestured towards the seat next to her, "Sit in that chair please. That way I can get you ready after I'm finished with Yongguk."

Zelo did as he was told and sat down; his heart ripping a little more and more. "Even though I'd like to have you as my love, I guess all I can do for now is imagine what it would be like," Zelo though as he admire her. He felt his heart tug a little more and more and soo, he was forced to look away to try and cal down his heart that was now beating rapidly.

As he sat there, Zelo received a text on his phone. Pulling the cell phone out of his pocket, he looked at the caller I.D. to see it was Youngjae who had texted him. "Hey," the text started, "I have some interesting news for you about Minnie..."

Zelo's POV.

I stared at the text for a bit until my ringtone brought me back to my senses.

"You still there?" The text read. I nodded even though he was unable to see me, but soon typed back my response.

Within seconds, my phone buzzed again and after I opened the message, I felt my heart drop. There, written in black letters, were eight words I thought I would never read.

"Minnie's leaving Seoul due to an arranged marriage."

"Arranged marriage?" I thought to myself, "she's only nine months older than me, how can that be? I guess her parents believe in an earlier marriage, but why didn't she tell-" my thoughts were broken as my phone rang once more, but this time it was a call.

"Youngjae, I don't really feel like talk-" but I was interrupted by her sweet voice, "Zelo?"

My eyes widened as I checked the caller ID to see the name Noona instead of Hyung #3. Clearing my throat, I slowly spoke into the phone, "N-noona?"

"Yes, it's me. Why don't you feel like talking to your hyung? Did he bully you again along with the others? Aish! I don't know how many times I have told them to lay off!" She exclaimed in rage.

A soft laugh rose from my throat as I sighed quietly, "No, noona they are behaving."

Silence filled the conversation for a slight pause until she asked in a puzzled voice, "Then what's the matter? Are you sick? Did you get hurt from your skateboard again? Zelo, if it is about your skateboard, I-" but I cut her off, "When were you going to invite me to your wedding?"

From the other end of the line, the only words spoken were those of silence. I sighed lightly as I opened my mouth to speak, but she beat me to it, "Zelo, I was meaning to tell you about that. It's the reason I called you."

A small smile played on my face. Not the typical smile; the smile of joy that I usually wore. No, this time it was truthfully a smirk.

"How long has this been planned?" I asked, my voice coarse and thick.

She sighed lightly as I heard her bed creak. Footsteps echoed in the background in which I assumed she was now pacing around her room; something she had always done when she was nervous or felt she had done wrong.

"Minnie, quit pacing back and forth," I spoke softly as I ran a hand through my hair.

A small chuckle emitted from the other line as I heard the footsteps lighten in their pace. I waited for an answer for a bit until I heard her start speaking, "Not too long. My parents told me a month ago-" my eyes grew wide as I exclaimed in shock, "A month?"

"Yes, a month. I've been planning on telling you, but didn't know when," she admitted truthfully.

Once again an elongated pause was the words spoken between us. The sound of the clock seemed to tick slower than usual as I heard her soft breathing over the phone as she continued to pace.

"Min-Hee," I spoke to break the silence, "do you even love him?"

She sighed, "Truthfully, no, I don't. My parents want me to marry him because he's wealthy like us, but in all honesty, I don't want to. I'm too young to get married!"

I chewed my bottom lip as I suggested, "Why don't you tell your parents then? Tell them you don't want to marry someone you have never met!"

"Well, techinically I am going to meet him in two days," she spoke in a barely audible tone that was coated with anxiousness and guilt.

I tilted my head as I questioned, "Why? Also, why do you sound so guilty? Minnie, what are you not telling me?"

Sucking in a breath, she choked out, "Zelo, don't be angry or freak out when you hear this."

Sighing, I ran a hand over my face and through my hair as I mumbled, "That is not something you tell someone because it usually means I will start freaking o-" but she cut me off, "The rehearsal dinner is in two weeks."

I felt my heart start cracking as each second passed as my head spun around. Two weeks? Then, that means she is going to be married in three weeks. That means my best friend who happens to be the girl I secretly have loved since I met her is getting married to some man she doesn't even love or know because she's going to meet him a week before the wedding.

What if he is always in a bad mood and doesn't treat her right? What if he's strange? What if he's a cheater and a liar? What if he doesn't love her back and it will be a love-less marriage?

"I don't want to see her hurt. Maybe there's a way I could convince her parents that this is all a bad ide- no, I can't do that. It's their choice, not mine and the only person who's in the place to say anything is Minnie herself. Oh, what to do?"

"Zelo?" She asked in a tiny voice, "are you still there?"

I cleared my throat as I shook out the jumble of thoughts from my mind, "Yes, I'm still here. Minnie, can't you talk to your parents about this? Tell them that you don't want to marry someone you met a week before the wedding?"

She sighed, "I have already. They told me that they have met him and he and his family are good people, so I'm going to marry him regardless if I want to."

I nodded my head even though she was unable to see the action, "We will figure something out, Minnie."

She chuckled lightly from the other end, "You've always been a sweet dongsaeng, Zelo. Thank you for talking to me tonight. You really helped me, but I have to go. I'll talk to you later."

I said my farewell and smiled, but felt my heart sting when she said "dongsaeng" since that is probably all she considers me as. Her dongsaeng best friend who is too young for her even though he has fallen head over heels over her.
