@-storywritter- Requested this {When TC, Topher and Jordan were held in hostage, what if Jordan got hurt? Sorry I'm all about Jordan and TC I really love them as a couple.}
I added the AU that Jordan and TC never broke up and remained a couple.
Topher was in the OR with Scott as TC half dragged Jordan into the breakroom. "Are you hurt? please tell me you're not hurt." He babbled, grasping both of Jordan's shaking hands in his own. Jordan remained silent for a few moments, then burst into tears, falling Into TC's now awaiting arms as he clutched her to his chest, stroking her hair down and kissing the top of her head. "It's Ok, it's all gonna be OK." He continued to murmur sweet nothings into her hair as he lifted her off her feet and sat her on the countertop next to the coffee machine.
"I'm sorry." She sobbed into his chest, causing TC to pull away and half glare at his girlfriend.
"No. No, you do not apologise for this." He snapped, cupping her cheeks. "You put up with enough of me after I came home, you do not apologise for this, at all." Leaning forward, he kissed her forehead gently, caressing her cheeks and rubbing the tears away as her sobs turned to stuttering breaths. "Do you want to go home, take the rest of the shift off? That was rough, sweetheart." Jordan shook her head.
"No, I have to stay on duty. I don't want to look-" TC cut her off, shaking his head.
"You won't look anything I promise you now. You got out of that alive, unharmed, and with your sanity. I'm so proud of you." What TC failed to notice was the subtle look of guilt in her eyes when he mentioned 'unharmed'.
Once Jordan had somehow convinced TC to let her stay on shift, he kept a very close eye on her, making sure either he or Drew were with her on all her cases. Ragosa and Landry had both tried many times to get her to take the rest of the night off, noticing her composure slipping.
It was small things, like the way constantly shaking hands made her fumble with equipment; the way she missed things she wouldn't usually miss when evaluating patients; the way she jumped when someone came up behind her that she hadn't heard. These small things were so un-Jordan-like, and they worried the people around her a little, but they didn't question her. It was on a case with a small child, just simple stitching up a wound, that everything fell apart.
"Hey there, buddy. Can you tell me what happened?" She said gently to the boy.
"I fell of my bike." He replied shortly. Jordan's instincts were going off; something wasn't right.
"How come you were on your bike so late?" She got no reply. Something was definitely off. "Ok, give me two seconds and I'll be right back, OK?" The boy nodded, his legs swinging idly off the side of the gurney. Jordan ducked out of the cubicle and went looking for TC and Landry. Landry would know instantly if this was an odd case, and TC had some sort of sixth sense, and he could tell when something was off straight off the bat. He'd take a shot in the dark as to what was going on, and nine times out of ten, he was right.
"Mollie, have you seen TC and Landry?"
"Landry's helping with triage from the chemical plant victims, she's in the waiting room and TC's in Trauma two dealing with some minor burns. He's got Krista with him, so should be able to get out of there if you need him." The nurse replied, smiling gently.
"Thanks, Mol." She headed straight to Trauma two. "Tee, can I borrow you?"
"Sure. You got this Krista?" The intern nodded, not even looking up from where she was cutting away the more severely damaged tissue from the patient's burns. "What's up?"
