EXPLANATION

Now, I know I haven't uploaded in a while, I apologise for that, but this update will be an explanation as to why, and a tiny little bit of the next chapter, just so you have something to put you on until I can update fully.

Over the last few days, my mental health had completely plummeted, so much so that I've had to take time off school to recuperate a little. This would give you more time to write I hear you say, but not really. With the time off, I'm working on looking after me for a little while.

Writing is one of the ways I help myself, but not when I'm feeling like this. I might write a couple of sentences, then feel like I can't for a while as I'm just so physically (and emotionally) drained at the moment.

I hope you guys enjoy this tiny little update,

Elliott

"Sorry, boys. We're being diverted to University. SAM's ER has gone up in flames." The pilot commented.

"What!" Both men yelled. Tc continued. "How long will it take to drop this guy into university, then get us back to SAM?

"I can't take you to SAM; there's nowhere to land."

"Then drop us in from the air, but we need to get back there ASAP!" TC yelled angrily, fear and panic flooding his veins.

Ten minutes later, TC and Topher were being dropped by rope, with any medical supplies they could gather from in the chopper, into the parking lot outside the ER.

"HEY!" TC yelled out, trying to get heard over the clamour of people. He could feel the heat of the inferno from where he was stood, more than one hundred yards from the ER. Mollie came running towards him.

"TC, good timing. Jordan, Drew and Kenny are down – burns and smoke inhalation. Ragosa's not looking good too." She looked at TC's face for a second, then sighed. "She's at the far end, the second person in on the row. Go find your girl."

"Is the-"

"Tee, go ask her!" he ran – though ran was an understatement at the speed he moved – in the direction Mollie was pointing in.

"Jordan, baby!" He cried when he spotted her. She was covered in soot, cradling the bump. He skidded to her side, scraping his knees in the process, though that was the last thing on his mind. "Are you hurt? Is she hurt?"

"I-I'm fine – I think, just shaken right now." She began, but when TC sat next to her and pulled her towards his chest, she burst into tears.
