She doubled over as a sharp pain hit the base of her stomach; TC was by her side in seconds, holding one hand, the other around her waist. He watched in apprehension as she cupped the baby bump protectively.

"Jordan, talk to me, what's wrong?" He waited for her to straighten up and look at him.

"I think its time."

He was sat by her side, gripping her hand. "You got this Jordan, you're ok." She looked at him, pain written on her face, and smiled as best she could.

"I know I'm ok. you're here." The smile was quickly replaced by a contortion of pain.

Eight hours after that first pain, TC was sat with their baby girl against his chest as Jordan slept. The baby squirmed in her sleep, taking a breath getting ready to cry, but TC's hand was immediately on her back, settling her again.

"Shh, little one, daddy's here." She settled once more and rested her head against his chest, lulled to sleep by his steady heartbeat. Little did TC know, Jordan was awake again, watching him, smiling widely.

"You're so good with her," She whispered sleepily, just as Drew walked in, a hoodie over his scrubs. "Hi, Drew." Jordan greeted.

"Hey, you," He murmured, going over and hugging her. "How you feeling?" Jordan sighed.

"Exhausted and sore, but the happiest I've been in forever." She nodded towards TC with the baby and Drew looked over and smiled.

"Incoming already came in then, huh?" He asked. TC nodded, keeping one hand on the baby's back, the other reaching out to hold Jordan's. Throughout the later weeks of Jordan's pregnancy, the baby had been dubbed 'Incoming' through the night shift staff, a running joke that Drew somehow started.

"Incoming has a name now, man. Incoming is now Niamh." He replied, running a thumb over her back and kissing her head. Jordan smiled again.

"Well, I'll leave you both with her. Shift ended about half an hour ago so expect visitors," he joked, before hugging Jordan again and leaving them in peace again. Jordan and TC looked at each other, both smiling.

Maybe they wouldn't be getting much sleep for the next few months, and maybe they'd end up calling on their friends to help a few times, but they both knew that they'd be ok as long as they were together.
