It was a new day, a day like any other day. For everyone else, so to say. This was day 1 of the newfound Prince.

Alois had woken up that morning, the usual warmth inside his soul gone. His butler came in a few moments after, surprised to see his master already awake.

"You're late," The young boy stated, "I thought I told you to wake me up."

"Sorry, your highn-"

"Don't let it happen again."

Alois brought his legs over to the edge of the bed, waiting for his butler to do his job. His butler did accordingly, yet something was off. His prince did not make any endearing faces at him, hell, he didn't even look at him.

The butler wouldve been thankful any other time, but not today. This was new, he couldnt tell if he like it.

As he finished dressing the prince, he started going over the daily schedule. Which was the same as always. Alois didnt know anybody, and he didn't want to know anybody. He was happy here. Well, until yesterday, maybe long before that.

"Your schedule for the day consists of-"

"Tell me later. I'm hungry." The small child slid off the bed and walked out the room. Stopping in front of the door. "You better be in the dining room before I am, or you will be recieving the same punishments as hannah, pest."

His butler stood in shock as he walked off. Though his master couldnt see, he was astonished, infatuated with his soul, his attitude, his new way. How would he ever prove to him now his devotion? Could he ever.

"Claude, you better be in the dining room before I am."

The butler sighed before speeding past the young lord, he didn't really care if he beat him to the dining room. He just hated being compared to hannah. Such a high ranked demon subdued into this lowlife of a maid? Pathetic. He would always be better then her.

As Alois walked into the dining room he ignored his butler, hiding to small bit of emotion that had flashed across his face. He sat down at his seat, before drawing his attention toward the demon.

"Hannah. Breakfast, now."

What? Why hannah? He had been his personal butler for years, he despised hannah, so why her?

Then it clicked. The same reason Ciel Phantomhive asks sebastian to do things. It's not because he trusts his butler, but because hes the only one capable of doing it. As long as hannah is capable of taking care of his highness, then he would always be second place.

He couldnt have that, not with his soul so close, within his grasp. Finally he had come to a conclusion.

"Claude. Are you listening to me? You incompetent insect," Alois glared at him angrily. "Clean this up, now."

The butler sighed reluctantly but got right to the task.

Hannah had to be taken care of.
