"Hannah, how are butterflies so pretty? Are they born that way?"

"No, Butterflies are caterpillars at first."

"But caterpillars are ugly! There's no way it could be a butterfly..."

"Caterpillars go through a change. They change from what they were to something else to be more desirable. Its the way nature works. Humans do it too."

"Hannah....is Alois a caterpillar or a butterfly?"

"Luka..."

Alois wasn't as excited as he though he'd be. He never really liked Ciel, yet he always thought it'd be amusing to see sebastian suffer. He smiled as hannah Accompanied him down the hall. She wouldn't look at Ciel Phantomhive, she wanted him. And him only.

The young prince couldn't tell, but Claude was watching in the shadows, angrily.

As they neared the entrance, hannah walked ahead and opened the doors. Revealing the small boy and his butler. Ciel glanced around before walking in, his butler following behind silently.

"Welcome back!" He smiled, although he said he hates him, it was nice to see someone his age. "I was thinking that we could play another game today."

Ciel nodded quietly and looked around once more. "What game are we playing?" He look quite distracted.

"I'll tell you that after we eat."

"What are we eating?"

"I'll tell you after we get there."

The doll like boy growled in responce while his butler just snickered.

"You growl like a dog, my lord."

"Shut it, mut." The boy snapped.

Alois grinned, "this way!"

Hannah and Alois led them back towards the garden area. The three demons were seen running around, setting up the table.

"Trancy."

"Yes?"

"Didn't you have a..."

"A what?"

"A different butler?"

Alois stopped walking. He turned to look towards Ciel, the cheerfulness leaving his eyes.

"That pest didn't know how to act. So I had him replaced. When he learns his lesson, he can continue being my butler."

Ciel was in fact shocked. He was surprised that the boy responded like that. Yet it couldn't be helped. These demons were their butlers, not their friends. If they got out of line, they had to be put in place.

Yet Ciel couldnt help but wonder, what did Claude do that was so bad to make Alois hate him?

He needed to find out, after all, Solving mysteries was his job.
