Suki's POV
Smoke all around, its hot too hot. I can't breathe, I start to cough, very harshly. I go straight to the floor, and cover my mouth with my hand. I look for the twins, I can't see them. "Sister, sister? Where are you? Suki!" My younger sister calls weakly. "Yuki, where are you? I can't see you," I tell her, then I bump into Yuudai. It looks like he is unconscious, I put my free arm around him, and try to pull him along. "Ouch! Shi-crap, that hurt." I hear Yuki yelp from the bathroom area. I head there slowly, and I see her on the ground with her hand loosely around her mouth. I put my hand down from my mouth, and call out to Yuki. "Yuki! Come help me with Yuudai," I croak out, my voice is obviously different. She quickly turns head to me, and looks very scared, I don't blame her. "Suki!, Is Yuudai ok? How did this happen?" She starts asking questions that I don't know how to answer. So instead I just shake my head and walk over. "No time to talk, we need to get out of here," she nods and grabs the other side of Yuudai.
We start onwards to the other side of the room, and even though I'm limping a bit, we make it through fine. I open the door, and on one side of the hall the fire is traveling, on the other side I see the fire escape staircase door. We make our way to the door and start downwards. I almost trip a few times, and smoke is still evident, but I'm fine for now.
When we reach the end of the staircase we push open the door, and go out. The door lead us outside and I turn around to see the building. The building is tall, and skinny, but its falling apart. The fire is burning brightly, its big, red, and it flows elegantly. It's kinda beautiful, I stare at it awhile before I turn back around. "Wow, it looks so beautifully sad," Yuudai suddenly says quietly. I turn to him quickly, and I jump a bit from the suddenness of it. "Y-y-Yuudai how long have you been up?" I ask him. "Not long, just for a little bit, I was shocked when I realized I was outside." He moves from our grip, and fixes his glasses, which I'm surprised are still on. "Hey, I thought your glasses were on the side of the bed, on the stand. That's where you put them last night, at least." Yuki who has been quiet for awhile finally spoke up. "Yeah, but when I felt really hot I got up and put them on. Then when I went to check outside the room, someone was yelling about a fire in the kitchen area. I felt light headed as I walked back into the room to tell you guys, that's when I fainted though." Yuudai explains himself to us, and I understand that that's the reason it took so long for us to wake up. "We should go to the front of the building, and see if anyone called for any pro-heroes," Yuki suggests, both Yuudai and I nod. We make our way over to the front of the building and there are indeed pro heroes.
Something is off though, pro heroes like the wild wild pussy cats are helping getting people out of the building. That's not it though, other pro heroes that are more in the field of rescue are here as well. There it is the thing that's off, before I can mention it though Yuudai beats me to it. "Hey isn't it weird that endeavor is here, or is it just me?" Before I can speak though I get beat to it, again. "It's just you," "actually I agree with Yuudai, it seems odd that endeavor would be here. I mean he is a hero, but still its weird. It's just a fire, and there are other capable heroes here." I share my opinion, and they both seem to understand. A police man sees us, and he calls us over.
We go over some questions which I thought was weird, it was just a fire that accidentally started.
"Hey kids before I forget, what are your names?, I need to write them in the list of victims," the kind police officers ask us, I get a little nervous though since I can't exactly tell them my last name. I give my siblings a look, so they know not to speak. "My name is Suki, my brother over here is Yuudai, and this is his twin sister Yuki. Is that all?" I tell him only our first name, since he may not even want our last name. "Umm, no, could you give me your last name please?" I keep a straight face on, and I don't falter. " Yes, Midoriya is our last name." I decide to tell him anyway, since it may not even matter. He nods his head, and gives a quick thank you before he turns away. I let out a long breath that may have been a sigh of relief.
"Do you think he's going to call grandma, y'know since we are minors that were just caught in a fire." Yuudai asks, and honestly I don't know how to answer him. I can't see the future, all I know is that we're in a time period where our parents are just a little older than us. "I don't know, honestly I'm just as confused as you guys." I feel bad that I can't assure them that everything will be alright. Then the officer comes back over. "I contacted your parents, and your mom picked up. She was a little confused that I used children, instead of child, but she said she's on her way." I swear my heart stopped at his words, I don't know what to do when grandma shows up. My shirt gets pulled before I can start spiraling into fear. "Hey sis, its going to be ok. As a future pro hero I need to be strong. We can do this, ok?" My younger sister assures me, even though she's young she is very mature. I give a determined nod, we can do this. I take a few deep breathes and calm down. "Guys when grandma shows up, she'll be confused I know that, but let me speak. Many people have last names that are the same, so it may not even be her that shows up. Lets all take deep breathes, we've been through worse, ok, we got this." I fist pump the air for affect, and to show determination.
A car pulls up though, and a stout plumb lady comes out of the drivers seat. She looks like a younger version of grandma. She rushes to the police officer who points in our direction. When she looks over she looks confused, but never the less she walks over.
"This must be a mistake, you probably got the wrong Midoriya. These aren't my kids." She tells the policemen, he looks over to us, probably to see if we look confused. "I asked the pro heroes over there if they knew any Midoriya's, endeavor said that his son goes to school with a Midoriya. He also said that the little boy looks like him a bit. So when he gave me your other sons name, I was able to do a search and find your number." The policeman looks confused, but he adds on before anyone can comment on it though. "Honestly I think they have some of your looks, but if you say they aren't your kids, then there isn't much I can do, but ask you three for your parents names, and numbers." I get sweaty, grandma looks worried, she must be very confused right about now. Yuki speaks up though, what she says surprises everyone.
"We can't, we're from the future. This is our grandma. We shouldn't say anything else though." I can tell Yuudai is just as surprised as I am. Grandma Inko looks very shocked, and confused. The policeman looks skeptical, though he nods, grabs Inko's hand and leaves. Our time here just keeps getting worse and worse. It's morning now, and I can see the sun start to rise, this is going to be a rough second day.
