Chapter.4 Loosing Kids

Izuku's POV 
Usually when people get zited we heroes don't really freak out too much. It's a simple task to get them back. Of course it's still scary for the family, and friends, but not for heroes. I do feel empathy for the family though, the fear that you might never see your family again is terrible. I can't imagine never being able to see my kids or husband again. That is until I got a call from Central Kurtisu Nihonbashi Junior high (the school my kids go to). Having to be called by your kids school administrator just to be told your kids have been zited is just too surreal.
    I was at my office doing some paperwork on a villain I had recently taken down when I got the call. "Hello, this is hero Deku, can I help you?" I don't usually answer unknown caller id's but I could sense this one was important. "Hello, I'm calling to inform you that Yuudai, Yuki, and Suki got zited today in class, I'm sorry for any inconveniences this caused, but I'm sure you'll save them. You are the number one hero deku." It took awhile for her words to sink in, I never thought this would happen to them. I quickly recovered though, "Y-yes thank you, for calling." After that I hung up. I sighed and rubbed my temple, this day was stressful enough. I decided that I would call Shoto so we could try to track down three people.
    This is how I ended up here in front of three villains. When we tracked them down it was simple. There's a gang we call the three zits, each one has some kind of variation of a time quirk. We have them all on file which is why it's so easy to find them. Montegro Ushijima is the first one, he is the most common to zit people. Aikido Hayato can only teleport people to other worlds, he also has a time limit to how long they are gone (24 hours). The last one is Ayami Choi, she is the least common but still a suspect. Her quirk can teleport people to different places in the world, but only in the present.
    We've been talking to them for exactly one hour with no luck. Usually they don't outright say anything, instead they give little hints. If we get all the answers correct then they will bring them back. We let Hayato and Choi go, since they weren't even near the school and none of the kids had seen them. Ushijima was our culprit, and so far his hints haven't been helpful at all. I haven't been too worried because my kids are smart and independent, so I know they can survive for awhile, plus I know that Suki has money. Still I can't help but think that they might be in trouble, he did say they were in a more dangerous time period. Shoto has been really helpful in calming me down. When I first saw him he whispered calming things in my ear, and told me everything would be alright. He embraced me gently, and kissed my forehead. He really was the best, though I know he is worried too. I can see it on his face as he talks to Ushijima. The hurried look on his face, eager to get them back, to hold them in his arms. At least that's what I'll do when I see them, I'll hold them really tight and tell them I love them very much. I miss them so much, but I have to focus on this interrogation right now.
I walk over to them and ask, "how far have we gotten? Any more hints or clues?" The chief of police replies, "Sorry not much to report, this guy won't give anything useful. The only thing we've gotten so far is that heroes today are younger in the time period the kids are in." I nod in response, I decide to go over to him. "Hey what's the current question?" "Well, it's not the easiest but if you get it, it will really help out." I'm starting to get irritated. "Well I'm ready for anything, bring it." "We're in a place that dad, and pa know well, even in blank, which I'll give you a nudge, the 'blank' is date." That's simple enough, a place Shoto and I know well. I know that they are in a dangerous time period, so a place we both have to know well can't be before 2015 or 2016. I can't think of anything, a really dangerous time period could be lots of times. A place we know well, maybe Sho has some ideas. As I'm walking to him I come with some ideas, like Yuuei, or our parents houses, maybe endeavors old agency.
"Sho have you heard the riddle yet?" I ask him, "yeah I have, I'm guessing you have too since you're asking. I have a few ideas but nothing major." I nod. "Same, I think some good places are Yuuei, your dad's old agency, as well as our parents places." He looks like he is contemplating what I said, then he finally responds. "Yeah, I was thinking that maybe the 'blank' was when we were first years, specifically the end of our first year, in high school obviously." I was thinking maybe the beginning of our second year, but that wasn't really a dangerous time I guess. "Yeah that could be it, but if that's the date then Yuuei must be the place." I know I'm muttering but I can't help it. When we were first years lots of things went wrong, but they all had to do with yuuei, so that has to be it. I feel Sho tap my shoulder, I look up at him. "I guess if we really think we have the answer we should go tell Ushijima, yeah?" I grunt in return as a yes. We walk over to him, our answer ready. "So got my answer?" We both nod, we look at each other and I start to speak. "We think that the time period is around 2016 to around 2017, and knowing that you probably dropped them off around Yuuei. No?" He seems somewhat impressed, and kind of happy in some weird way I guess. "Well well well, color me impressed, I didn't expect you to get it so fast. Good job. But as you know my quirk wont work too well now that I've already used it not too long ago."
Yeah I know that, but I need my kids back so I'll do anything even if it means searching through the past. "Yes we're well aware, but we also know that you'll at least be able to put us in that time period, so we can just go look for them." Just then the chief of police comes in and says, " If you do that though you're going to have to be very stealthy, no one can know you're from the future. Also you can't see yourselves from the past, basically all the do's and don'ts of going to the past." We both nod then turn to Ushijima, "you gonna send us to the past?" Shoto asks. He nods, "whenever you're ready I can send ya." He smirks, "but it would be great if you could let me go." He shakes his hands a bit. As the police deal with him I try and build up courage. This could take days, or weeks, it could also just be a few hours. Sho hugs me from behind, "hey, everything will work out, just breathe. We'll bring them back safely, I promise." I smile and nod, he always knows how to calm me down.
Time to get to work. Never mind we decide to go home and get rest first. Tomorrow morning we'll get straight to work, and find our kids.
