Chapt.7 Night at a hotel

Suki's POV
      We get to the car, and it hits me that I don't know what to do next. Where do we go after this, I don't exactly have a lot of money. The motel we were at last time burned down, and I don't have a lot of money left to get a room for me and my siblings. Plus where is he even taking us? He might take us somewhere that we can stay, he might even pay for us. "Okay we need to talk about where you're going to stay for tonight,'' ok so the police man does have some type of direction for tonight. I wait for him to say something, but after sitting in awkward silence for a couple of minutes I realize he might not have anything else to say. But then he speaks, "if you don't have anywhere to go then I know a place you can stay. I can pay if needed, so don't worry about the money. Plus when I get called to go get you, I know where you are and I can pick you guys up. Mmk?" He looks to us after explaining all that, like he's asking if we got all that. I just give a thumbs up an a nod for confirmation. He turns back to the front and starts the car. We all sit in silence for the ride, having nothing to say.
     When we get to the place we're supposed to be staying at the police man gets out first. When I finally get out I realize that he has taken us to a pretty looking hotel. It almost looks fancy, I wonder how much it costs to stay a night. Since we didn't really bring much, it kind of makes us look homeless compared to everyone else. When we were at the motel we only had our school stuff and our clothing. The motel had robes that I'm guessing the twins didn't see, so they still had their clothing on. Sure it smelled like smoke, and it was a little singed but it still covered their bodies. Unlike me who wore only my undergarments and a robe to bed. When the fire started I still only had that on, so I quickly put on a skirt loosely. When we got outside the building I tied the robe tightly, and tucked it into my skirt. Sure it kind of poked out but it did its job as clothing so I'm not complaining. In perfect timing while I think about clothing Yuki looks over to me and starts talking.
     "Hey, we need to go clothes shopping. You look like a wreck, plus Yuudai and I look we were just in a fire. Which we were. Point is we need clothing." I get what shes saying but we don't have a lot of money so we may not even be able to get clothes. "Ugh, whatever I'm going to ask the policemen about this since you clearly are no help." She rolls her eyes dramatically while she stomps on over to the police officer. I guess she got impatient with my thinking. "Don't mind her she just feels gross, and is tired of all this. I don't blame her." Yuudai comes up to me and does a wide gesture when he says, 'all this'. He is right though its not like we can blame her for her shit attitude. I sigh and nod, still not wanting to speak. When Yuki comes back, she looks like she has something to say.
     "Well I told him about our clothing isssue, and he said that he'll get us some casual clothing. Also about our school stuff I don't think we'll need all that, but he said to bring it anyway when we go to Yuuei." After she finishes that the man himself comes over. "Here is your room key, room 105 on floor 3. I'll probably get you around mid afternoon tomorrow, that may change though since I have no control over that, but still be ready." He then doesn't wait for anything as he walks away. I decide to do the same and start to walk to the elevator. The twins follow me, obviously.
     When we get to the third floor it looks like a ghost town. its very quiet and no one is around, is it supposed to be like this or what, 'cause its kind of creepy. Anyway we make it to our room and set what little we have down. I look at the time and I see that its already 17:45, geez its already going to be dinner time. I don't know why I decide that I want to go out to eat, but I do, "guys how about we go out t0 eat? That could be good right, getting out with the fresh air. Plus I think I have enough for some cheap burgers." "Yeah, I think thats a good idea lets do it." Yuudai backs me up, Yuki on the other hand just flops on the bed. "Bring me back something, I have cramps and don't feel like going out." She mumbles from her spot on the bed, "ok will do, but if you don't feel well take a shower and sleep. We're probably going to be busy tomorrow, and the rest of the week." I hear her mumble a little, ok. As I start towards the door I gesture with my head for Yuudai to follow.
     As Yuudai and I walk the streets down to find a cheap fast food place the sun starts to go down. Its very pretty, like pinkish orange cotton candy that fills the sky, very elegant looking. As things start to feel peaceful and calm some boys run into Yuudai. "Oof!, ow." Yuudai falls, and hits his head on the pavement, which looks painful. The other boy fall on their butts as their stuff scatters. "Oh my goodness! Yuu! Are you ok? What the hell? Can you look where you're going next time, geez." I go by Yuu's side, I call him Yuu as a nick name, though it kind of died off when we were younger. I hold his head in the crook of my elbow, so he isn't fully up, but also isn't down on the hard pavement. "Sorry, sorry we were in a rush. Are you guys ok? Did he hurt his head?" The boy who fell has his black haired friend gather the stuff as he comes over. He's blonde, and has a sharp black line going through the left side of his hair, unique.
     "No, sorry for freaking out. I'm just very protective of him, also he has a sensitive head. Though you should look where you're going, even if you are in a rush." I calmly tell him, he sheepishly rubs the back of his head and nods. The other boy then comes over as well. "Sorry about that, me and my friend here really need to get back to our school dorm, bye." "Omg! That's right we need to go, bye!." The blondie yells as he grabs the black haired boys hand and starts to run off. "Ugh, that shit hurted." We both laugh, even though its not correct speaking its a joke between us that we heard back in America.
     "Hey sis did those two boys look familiar, I know I didn't really have a good look, but still I felt like I've seen them before." Yuudai finally says after his last chuckle, I think about it for awhile but I just can't seem to put my finger on it. "No sorry I can't think of where you would have seen them, besides they didn't really look all too familiar." I tell him, "hmmm, really thats odd, I could have sworn I've seen them before." After he responds, we both stand up. "Whatever lets go get those burgers." We walk in peaceful silence again, but I can't help but think about the boys. If Yuudai really has seen them before it only makes sense that he would have seen them in our time line. Maybe on the news, but I can't really think of anything. Whatever they might just be some under ground hero in the future, or something, who knows Yuudai might have even been thinking of someone else anyway. We continue on our walk for burgers.

Thanks for reading this chapter I hope you liked it. I introduced some new characters, wonder who they are. Also in Japan 5:45 would be 17:45. I'm going to use Japanese time so if you ever get confused when I say a time just know to count up from 12. So like 5 plus 12 is 17, I hope that makes sense.
