Chapter 9

"(L/n)..."

[(Y/n) POV]

I turn my head to see Todoroki walking at to me at an unusually fast pace."I wanted to ask you something"He continued rubbing the back of his neck with a hint of blush appearing on his cheeks,"would you like to...hang out? Tomorrow?"

I stared dumbfounded by his question before nodding happily."Also..."He walked closer to my face my cheeks flushing a deep red,"you were really amazing out there..."He whispered into my ear walking pass me waving a goodbye.

I stood there in shock yelling back at him "You were amazing too!!! Bye!!!" I flushed red running to the car to get home.

[Time skip to at home (Y/n) POV]

I got home ready for a shower when I saw,"Mother? Father? Your back already?" I questioned looking at a (M/h/c) female and (F/h/c) male sitting on the couch with guests."Oh your back Hunny we saw you on TV you did great dear,hurry up and wash up we want to introduce someone to you..."My mother said with an unusual cheery tone in her voice.I nodded my head walking to my room to get washed up.

I soon sat down next to my parents and another couple with their son around the same age as me."Hunny this is the Shino family another successful company and this is their son Haru Shin"Haru waved at me with a gentle smile."Oh well it's nice to meet you.."I bowed looking at them."Oh your daughter is so beautiful-"Mrs Shino said starting a conversation which I started to zone out not listening to anything they were talking about.I stared at Haru to observe his features,not gonna lie he wasn't half bad but he kinda looked like Todoroki.Their hairstyle are almost the same except the colour and their facial features are quite similar other then the eyes the scar,he also looked more bulked then Todoroki.

After a few minutes of zoning out I heard something that cause my body to freeze in shock.

"So,do you suggest our son lives here with you?they need to get along well so they can marry happily but I guess that's not a problem since they have some things in common"Mrs Shino said with a smile.I stood up in shock raising my voice slightly "What!? Marriage?! I don't even know a thing about him!" "(Y/n)! Sit back down!" My dad shot back,I obligated at first but then sat back down,"We were thinking about an arrange marriage so our business will work better together...please understand..." My mother explained "Besides you two will be a lovely couple so please dear..." She continued.

I stood up and walked up to my room ignoring their calls only hearing a "you will hang out with him tomorrow to get a feel of things!"

I walked into my room and slammed the door echoing the halls of the large mansion,I dropped dead onto my fluffy bed looking at my phone seeing someone had messaged me.

Todoroki:
Hey (L/n)

Me:
Hey Todoroki!:)

Todoroki:
So we still up for tomorrow? If so I'll meet you around 7PM?

Me:
Uh we can but someone might be joining us...

Todoroki:
And who will it be?

Me:
Some guy named Haru,my parents want me to hang out with him

Todoroki:
Why?

Me:
I'll explain tomorrow
And sure I can make it at 7 just wanna know why so late haha

Todoroki:
I'm gonna meet someone else before hand I hope you don't mind the late meeting....

Me:
Of course I don't!!

Todoroki:
Okay now it's late goodnight (L/n) sleep well..

I placed my phone to charge as I smiled cheerfully to myself blushing.I looked to the clock to realise that it was indeed late,'no wonder they were being nicer then normal their just using me for their business...should have known...'My smiling fading and I layed down on my bed slowly drifting to sleep.

[The next day at 7pm (F/n) POV]

I was walking with Haru stuffing my hands into my pockets looking at the time,"6.50..." I mumbled to myself but Haru seem to have heard me."So who is this person we are meeting?" He cheerfully said and to be honest I couldn't help but blush abit at his words."Just a friend..." I replied.

We sat at the park at a nearby bench next to the lake with a bridge,usually couples would be there being romantic but on this day,there was no one there,Todoroki said it would be nice to go there since its windy today.I stared at my phone waiting for the time to pass.Haru,being a 'nice' guy started a conversation,"so...I'll be staying with you..."I nodded my head"Anything else I need to know" I asked.He nodded" I'll be attending U.A in the business course so I guess we will see each other more and more" he chuckled earning a small laugh from me,"yeah...guess-" I paused to see Todoroki dressed in casual attire and immediately my cheeks flushed up.

I walked up to him leaving Haru alone to talk to Todoroki.

[Haru POV]

I saw my 'fiancee' walk up to Todoroki.A smirk grew on my face as I saw Todoroki blush as (L/n) hugged him,'oh Todoroki I know how for to get my revenge...'I thought.I walked up to them and hugged (L/n) behind her back."Hey (F/n)! Who's this?" I smiled childishly,I saw her blush and Todoroki glare at me.'So I guess he's catching feelings for her' I smirked at Todoroki while he glared me.

"Haru!What are you doing!?" (L/n) yelled blushing profusely."What~? Can't I hug you~?"I said as I nuzzled my head into the crooked side of her neck acting childishly to fool the (h/c) girl but I know all to well that it didn't fool the bi-colored male standing infront of us.

[Todoroki POV]

The moment I saw him hug (L/n) I knew who he was immediately.'Haru Shino...'All I could think was why she was with him,I knew the moment she mentioned Haru it might be him,sadly it was,now he's all over (L/n).'What's this feeling?Why do I feel...angry?'I thought to myself glaring daggers at Haru as he nuzzled his head onto her neck,my blood was boiling.I saw him smirk at me with that infamous smirk I hate so much,almost as much as i detest my old man.

I feel so weird when he holds her so close to him,I felt like I envied him so much as if I wanted to hold her like that...do I?'Am I....inlove with her?' I thought to myself.So if that's the case that means....

'Is this jealousy...a now new love rival and old enemy of mine...is now fighting to win the heart and affection of this (h/c) girl...who's been suffering for who knows how long?'
