"Come on guys, just hand over the photos." I crossed my arms and made pouty lips as to try and convince them.
"Michael, go out the window, it's time for his first test."
I think that Michael kid just threw himself out the window. There was a loud thumping sound outside, and then I heard some running.
Jeremy gestured for me to follow him, so I did. We went down the stairs and into the kitchen, where his dad was making some pizza.
"Dad, Me and Alex are gonna go to the store to pick up stuff for our project."
Not looking at us, he said " Okay. Just don't be out too late or spend a lot of money."
We exited the house and got in a car that I assumed was Jeremy's. I got in the back with Jeremy in the driver's seat and Michael in the passenger seat. They both turned to look at me and said in unison "It's adventure time."
I just looked at them questioningly with a hint of "the fuck".

I ran my finger through the phonebook, wondering how many of these numbers were gonna be helpful. I picked a hotel called "Inc. Inc."
"Hello! My name is Emily! How can I help you today?"
"Hi. I was wondering if anyone called Aaron Burr checked into a room? About 5'7", bald, and is wearing track clothes."
She paused for a second, and then said "I would need to check our record book, give me a minute." Then there was some music that you get when you are put on hold. After about 2 minutes, she picked up the phone again.
"So, no one named Aaron Burr has checked in, but there is someone with the same description here. You would need to come to this hotel in order for me to give you more information.
"Can I get the address then?"
"Oh! Sure! It's 10046 Miranda Street!'
I grabbed my notepad and scribbled down '10046 Miranda Street'
"Thank you! I'll head there soon!"
I then hung up and called Alex. He should have those pictures by now
I must have called him like 100 times, but he never picked up.
