I woke up with a headache and found myself tied up in a bird cage big enough for me. Something's not right... I feel light headed and weak... I've only watched one episode of Violet's favorite anime where in the main character was caught in some sort of trans... I think it was called... Genjutsu?... Anyway, that was how I felt. Like I was trapped in some sort of dream. I hopped over to the edge of my cage to view my surroundings. I was shockad at what I saw. Leo and Raph were bounded, gagged, and were each chained to a wall oposite from each other. I look downward only to see a pot of green... Goop? Below the cage I was in. But what reall surprised me was Violet. There she was, standing with her defensive pose on, kunai knife in hand. Both of her arms were covered in scratches and blood dripped from her lower lip. She looked tired and was slightly shaking. A dark scowl appeared on her usually calm face as a dark chuckle emmits from a black hooded figure. He almost looks like death himself if you ask me. If only he had a scythe to complete the look, although I really wish he didn't have one right now. I shuddered at the thought.
"So which is it Violet? The letter or your friends?" hissed the figure with a dark mocking tone.
Violet snarls at the figure while momentarily closing her eyes. I wasn't really surprised at this knowing how much she hated having to make decisions such as this one. She would rather kill herself than sacrifice any of her friends, no matter how anoying they can be...
"Go for the letter Vi!" I shout making Violet flash her purple eyes at me with a desprate yet relieved look on her face. She must have not noticed that I was concious.
"Kasumi..." she whispers softly as tears start welling up on her eyes making her close them again.
I could't help but gasp as the hooded guy looks up at me with blood red eyes and gives me a toothy grin.
"How about a little wager?" asks the figure. Violet turns to look at him, brows furrowing with irritation a nd disgust. "You call for your stupid pet to hand over the letter and I'll let you amd your pathetic friends go." says the confidently as he watches Violet close her eyes once again, her hands drop to her sides. Her free hand balling into a fist as the other one clenches the kunai so tight that her knuckles turn white.
"Vi, no! Don't listen to him! Don't let him manipulate you! I know you know better than that!" I couldn't help shouting before Violet could reply. She sighed before lookimg at me with her dark purple eyes.
"I can't risk everyone's life just to get the letter Kas... It's not worth it..." she says more to herself than to me as a tear drop rolls down her cheek. Leo and Raph both squirm in their places trying to break free from their bounds to try and change Violets decision but unfortunately they fail. Another tear rolls down her cheek as she lifts her free hand and prepare's to whistle. The boys' eyes, along witb mine, widen in shock knowing where this was going.
"Don't do it Vi! I can take care of myself! Just go and get out of here!" I yell as the hooded guy laughs like a mad man.
"And how, may I ask, do you plan on escaping alive?" he asks incrediously as he pulls down a lever that causes my cage to slowly lower itself into the pot witb green goop, which I now think is actually acid. The chains seem to be connected to the ones holding Raph and Leo as they seem to be uwillingly dragged into the shadows making the said boys squirm for their lives.
"NO!" cried Violet as she sprinted to my cage with inhuman speed and cut the bars of my cage with ease. To my surprise, the a few of the bars fall off either due to Violet's strength or speed, I'll never know. The said person then grabs me by the ropes and gracefully lands on the ground. With out a second to lose, she cuts the ropes swiftly but carefully and dashes to Raph and Leo. She immediately slashes through their chains. The ripped off the duck tape that prevented them from speaking. After two silent screams and a few curses from Raph they thanked Violet. The three then dash to where I was standing, breathing heavily. I looked at Violet, concern and worry written all over my face as she gives me a soft smile.
"Oh dear me, it seems you rescued your friends a bit too early." says the hooded guy.
"Why's that?" asked Violet through gritted teeth.
The hooded guy chuckles darkly before replying. "Because, I would have given you another set of choices." he says boredly.
"Which would be?" asks Leo, slightly trembling, earning a glare from Raph.
The hooded guy chuckles again. "Leave this place alive but without the letter or..." he pauses glancing at each of us.
"Or?" asks Raph slightly flinching at the sight of the hooded guys teeth.
"Or keep the letter... But DIE un this cursed manor!" upon saying that he... teleported?... In front of us while holding a scyth. As he attepts to kill us all, Violet blocks his attack. The sharp weapon went right through her, peircing her heart. I was barley able to catch her body as she fell. My entire body was shaking, my eyes still wide witb shock with tears starting to fall down my face.
She managed to cough up some blood before saying "I'm... S-sorry..." as she closed her eyes, letting her kunai drop to the floor.
"NO!" I yelled as hot tears roll down my face. A dark chuckle suddenly echoes as the darkness envelopes ne and my bestfriends body.
"She r-risked her own l-life... T-to s-save me..." I say outloud while crying my heart out.
No... She's actually gone... I couldn't save her... Why?... Why couldn't I?... Why is fate so cruel to me?!?... I was useless... Pathetic... Weak.... I continued insulting myself as I slowly lost conciousness while hearing Violet's words and the dark chuckle echo in the darkness....

Woah... Tense... Yeah... Just remeber guys, all of the characters were dreaming so none of this happened in reality, just to be clear. So... I would be happy to hear any suggestions about the next chapter. BTW, I placed a pic of Violet in the media section :) My friend Rowzell made it for me and she did a pretty good job too :D ( Thanks Rowzell :D).Well, I don't really have anything to say so...
