April's Pov:

"April! Get up and go for a walk over something!"

I rolled over and looked at the time; it was 10:34 AM. I groaned and rolled my eyes. My parents are fitness freaks and it's annoying as fuck.

I pulled on leggings and an old t-shirt then my oversized sweatshirt from a swim meet 2 years ago. I walked down my street and then down to the park on Briar Street. I plugged in my music.

I kept walking to the way back of the park and I saw something that I haven't noticed before. It's an old mail slot. Why is it here? I asked myself. I also was suddenly interested. I opened the slot not expecting anything to be in it but I saw an envelope.

I honestly was shocked that I saw it. It was definitely a new letter. Did the person who put it in here honesty think that it was go somewhere? Then I became really curious and I picked it up. I looked around but I was far back in the park and no one could see me. I opened it and pulled out a letter. The ink was black and the handwriting was a little messy but I could read it well. I started to read it.

Luke? Does he go to my school? What does he look like? I had millions of questions. I stuffed the letter in my coat pocket and starting walking back to my house with Gracey not pulling me anymore.
