Chapter 21~

Aprils Pov:

They let me have my phone after they started the treatment because I'm going to be here for awhile. I would often wake up crying but Ann said that would go away soon.

Luke comes to visit me everyday, he brings his school work with him and does it if I'm sleeping or if I insist he does it.

I'm actually really worried about him and I told him that but then he went off about how worried he is about me so I shut up. His mom told me he hasn't really slept in weeks.

"I have never seen him care about something so much," she said to me one day when Luke stepped outside to make a phone call.

"Luke," I said weakly, "can you sing to me?"

He held my hand and said, "I don't really sing though..well I have been singing your name and playing my guitar and I'm now realizing I probably shouldn't have told you that."

I laughed which made my chest hurt and it turned into a small cough, Luke handed me a glass of water.

"Please, sing."

He sighed and climbed on top of my hospital bed and wrapped me in his arms, "what song?"

I though for a moment and replied, "wake me up when September ends."

He took a deep breath and started.

When he finished I kissed him and said, "thank you, your voice is beautiful."

He smiled and said, "oh I forgot to tell you, I actually made friends."

"well you are a very like able person. Who are they and when can I meet them?"

"Their names are Calum, Micheal, and Ashton. They are in a band and they need another guitarist plus a lead singer."

"You have to."

He chuckled, "maybe.."

"Where did you meet them?"

"Actually here. I was in the waiting room and I guess someone maced them and they were getting their eyes flushed."

I laughed really hard and he started laughing too. "Can you start sleeping more now?"

"Well I'll try, April Grace."

Luke's Pov:

"Dude, that was awesome!" Calum exclaimed. Michael and Ashton chimed in, "yeah, you're amazing."

"Thanks guys, it's so awesome playing with you," I said smiling and high fived them. I started to put my guitar away and Calum said, "soon we will start playing gigs and then we will tour all over the world."

Ashton grinned, "random hot girls throwing themselves at us."

"Getting rich," Michael added.

"Getting bitches and getting riches," I said looking at my guitar and smiling. Obviously I'm not getting with any girls besides April.

They all laughed which made me feel good. I picked up my guitar case when my guitar was packed up, "I'm going to go see April...actually, do you guys want to come?"

"Yessss!"

"April is my birthday month so fuck yes!"

"I need to meet this amazing April you have spoken of before," Calum said in a British accent.

"Leggo," I led them to my car.

We turned on green day and screamed each lyric which made us laugh like crazy.
"I just got a good idea, we should make all of our cars bat mobiles," I suggested.

We all broke off into laughter and Calum said, "we should show up the VMAs in bat mobiles."

We laughed again and talked about our bands future.
