Chapter Six

My beta and I sat quietly at the edge of the woods watching my mate smile happily along with cartoons making my heart flutter happily.

Do you think he's a little? Daz mind-linked me his shoulder brushing against mine.

I know he is. I mean look at him. I quickly looked over at my beta when I turned back my mate was no longer on the bed. I quickly stood searching the windows before seeing a small bathroom window light up. We waited for my mate to wash his hands and watched as he made his way to the kitchen. I don't like that they keep so many blinds open. Anyone could be watching my mate. I growled slightly at the thought.

I mean that is what WE are doing.  If they were closed you wouldn't be able to watch him. Daz replayed smugly. I watched as my mate wiggles his butt as he dug into the freezer then it dawned on me. My mates not wearing pants. I quickly pounced on my beta using me large paws the cover his eyes as he laid under me.  I could hear his laugh in my head as he jokingly tried to shake me off. Alpha a couple things. I'm amazed you didn't realized sooner, the little male took his pants off before coming out of the bathroom. And two, I have no interest in your mate, I have my own, I'm also straight. On top of that all at least he has in underwear that cover everything. He mocked me through the link. I growled not liking the fact of someone else seeing my mate in his boxers but also knowing Daz is right. I slowly let the smaller wolf up and we continued to watch him move around the kitchen. Slowly his eyes locked on us and we all froze. Daz slowly peeked out of the bushes before stepping out into my mates back yard.

What are you doing?! I growled lowly.

Luna. Daz's wolf replied. To us wolves recognizing a Luna and being recognized by one is a great deal. I could see as Daz's wolf pushed forward wanting to meet his Luna. I quickly stepped out and in front of my beta watching as he fought with his wolf. I widened my stance and hung my head low letting out a growl.

Daz. Go home. I knew right now would not be a good time but inside me and my wolf puffed with pride that our beta already accepted his Luna and only wished to be accepted back. The sound of the back door opening drew my mate scent toward me and it took everything I had not to turn towards my mate. My beta looked around me and began to step forward again making me let out a snarl. Daz froze as he pushed back his wolf and bared his neck. The human side of his brain now in complete control, he quickly turned and made his way into to woods. I couldn't help but grumble in warning until Daz's red fur left my sight.

The sound of my mate stepping out of his home made me whip around. With my head high I watched my mate in fascination. He had a small smile on his lips making me tilt my head. The small male followed my actions making my cheeks pull into a wolf like smile.

"Hi babys." My mate said carefully as he reached out his hand. I slowly stepped forward sniffing the air for any sign of fear but none came. I moved till my snout was inch from his hand before looking up at him. "Well you definitely aren't a husky are you boy." I could help but let out a small hmph as I sat on my hunches. Yeah, not a dog. I chuckled in my head. Tingles shot through my body as my mate slowly began to pet my head and I leaned into his touch yearning for more. Without thinking I turned my head slightly to and licked his arm earning a small giggle. My mind went blank when his other hand came up to my fur. His fingers slowly worked their way through my coat, across my ears and down my cheek earning small rumbles of pleasure from my chest. The shrill beep of the microwave made me and my mate jump in surprise.

"Well I guess that mean it's time for me to go inside buddy, if you hang out around here maybe next time I'll have something for you." He let out a soft sigh making me whine. I wasn't quite ready to leave my mate and my mate seemed quite reluctant to go inside. I nuzzled his hands softly wanting more attention. He worried his lip as his eyes searched the road for an answer. "Okay but only for a little bit." At first I was confused until he made his way to the door and held it open. Wagging my tail happily I made my way inside and began to explore the house, my mates home.

I could hear him moving around as I sniffed my way into the living room. Two scents other then my mates filled the house, his mother and father. I found myself back in the kitchen and looked up as my mate bent over in the fridge. The way his boxer tightened around his butt made my mouth feel dry. My ears peaked up and with out thinking I nudged his bum with my nose. The look of shock my mate gave me as he turned around made me want to laugh but I settled for wagging my tail happily. He let out a little face scoff and pulled out a package of raw bacon.

"This is all I can find for you right now." He smiles slightly and I felt my stomach growl. I licked my chomps and sat on my hunched watching the raw meat in his hand. He let out another small giggle as he pulled out a couple pieces and tossed them in a bowl. I felt my tail quicken as he set the bowl on the floor, as soon as my mate was out of the way and lunged in. He turned away and washed his hands before picking up his nuggets. I quickly finished the meat that was given to me and then followed my mate through the house. He lead the way to his bedroom and quickly climbed into the bed. I watched him carefully as I sat at the edge waiting for permission. "Come on." He said softly and patted the cover I quickly hopped up into the bed and lates down carful not to take up the entire thing. He munched in his chicken nuggets happily watching the TV. My eyes stayed focused on my mate until the sound of his sweet giggles pulled me into a soft slumber.
